DWMA [Soul Eater Fan Fic]

The cold truth is out...

 “I want you two take him back.” Sid asked. I fell to the floor on my knee’s I looked round and Phoenix had snapped “what the hell!? Then why did you ask us to bring him here?” Sid looked around the room for an answer “This is your punishment…” he managed to say “Punishment? That doesn’t even make any sense!” Phoenix yelled. I got up and walked over to Sid’s desk “okay.” I said. I picked up the bag “Misty, we are not taking this…this…midget elf thing back!” Phoenix yelled even louder. I grabbed his wrist, and dragged him back “It’ll be okay!” I smiled.  When we got back to the cave we let Excalibur go “Fools!” I bent down to Excalibur’s height “you heard Sid, we had to get you as part of our punishment and bring you back. Strange it is, but we are really sorry.” I said, he just stood there. “Very well, you may go.” I stood up and dragged phoenix out the cave. “well, today was eventful, we beat our first kishin, get a massive upgrade, punished and why the hell are you still dragging me?” Phoenix asked. I stopped and thought about it, then something happened…

I sensed her soul presence.

I ran towards the academy “Hey!” I completely forgot I was still dragging Phoenix “we have to go! We have to go now!” I screamed. Phoenix stopped me from running and just kept hold of my wrist “what is it Misty?” I looked up at Phoenix and then at his hand, I was determined to break free “It’s a witch!” I tried to beat his arm numb so he’d let go but he grabbed my other wrist “then let’s go and get her.” he was so calm but he didn’t know the truth, I didn’t want him too! “We can’t another witch! Another day! Another time! But not now!” I yelled “Now let…me…go!” he took every kick and every punch but he never let me go. He turned to a Scythe “Listen to me Misty, I don’t know what issue you got with this witch but let’s take her out now and concentrate on the nighty eight kishin souls we have to collect.” It was too late…

“Misty?” she was already here.

“My my, Misty is that really you?” I spun at the sound of the familiar voice. I trembled in fear “why it is you! Oh I’m so happy to see you made it as a DWMA student!” she said with joy. Why is she so happy? Is she going to finish the job or what? “I…I…Can’t do it.” I hesitated to say. My whole body was frozen with fear it hurt to move, it even hurt to speak. “Oh, you haven’t told anyone? Well boy, you better listen up.” she said in a harsh tone to Phoenix “Told me what? What she going on about Misty?” Phoenix questioned. I closed my eyes I wanted it to stop. “I…I came to the academy…to..to…” I couldn’t say it.my throat was so dry “the real reason she became a student was to kill me, get revenge. After all I did kill her family…” she smirked. I could sense that Phoenix was angry and confused “I slaughtered them all in front of her, White witches are nothing but a waste of space like your mother…she was a white witch. Oh you didn’t know that did you?” I shook my head in denial “but they all did.. bet you didn’t know your auntie Jackie was one too?” she smirked. I ran past her and back to the academy. I left Phoenix to a guy wearing a lab coat and ran to the girl’s toilet. I locked myself in a cubical and cried. I was so scared, why didn’t she kill me? Why did she say something like that?

A while later I heard the toilet's door open and close. There was a shadow underneath the cubical door. Someone knocked on the door “knock Knock.” It was Phoenix.  I almost had him killed, why is he still talking to me? “Go away! You’re not even supposed to be in here!” I yelled. I heard him laugh “Oh well, it’s not like I’m trying to have sex with girl in here.” He said. I stayed copped up on top of the toilet “I spoke too that professor stein…about white witches.” Phoenix obviously wanted to find out what she meant “they’re not evil witches, they use their powers for good.” I put my legs down “and he said he knew your mother, when he heard her daughter was attending the school he immediately had high expectations for you.” I put my arms down “actually, when I explained what happened do you know what he told me I should do?”  I stood up “He said that I should tell you that her name was Windy and that you already know how to kick her ass and that you should have a little more faith in your weapon.” I opened the door “So what if your half witch, and so what if you don’t have a clue how to wield a Scythe. I’ll help you.” He exclaimed and held out his hand  “he never said that did he?” I asked and looked up at him “well…not in so many words, but that’s the general idea.” He smiled. I took his hand “It’s okay to be afraid you know. It’s what makes us human…well, in your case half witch too.” He mumbled on, I laughed “okay, you’re laughing that’s good. Now can we get out of here, otherwise people will soon start to think I’m actually screwing you?”  he moaned, I laughed “Sure thing.”

When I got home at the end of the day I gave Aunt Jackie a hug “are you okay?” she asked worriedly “I’m fine.” I said with a grin. We had dinner and I told her all about my day “Windy found you? Does anyone know besides Phoenix?” then I told her about the rest of my day “Don’t worry Auntie Jackie, next time we bump into Windy we’ll get her!” I said like a boss. When I looked down after I jumped up and stomped my foot on the table I saw Auntie Jackie really angry. “If he try’s it on with you let me know…got that?” she asked.
