If I were in my human state, the following events that had happened after the creature tried to attack me would've be a blur. Since my abilities of being a Hunter had kicked in, I was able to see everything happen.

Another creature had swiftly rammed itself into the violet miniature T-Rex, sending the violet creature flying back. The other creature, which basically was the real version of a T-Rex, had red scales.  At the same time, my father sprinted towards the violet creature with some type of lightning crackling in the palm of his hands.

That turned out to be chaotic because the red T-Rex had stood in the place of the violet creature, and my father electrocuted the wrong creature unintentionally. What now laid before me was a violet creature pissed off as ever, a mistaken father, and a passed out red T-Rex.

Life really had tons of rotten lemons to pitch at me. Tons. I mean, this kind of crap doesn't happen to normal people.

"Well, we're screwed." My father muttered, staring down at the red creature. He then snapped his gaze at the violet one, and stood in a defensive stance. The violet creature had crashed a huge gap through a wall, having dust flying everywhere. We were unable to see where the violet creature was because it seemed like a smoke machine went off.

I felt something shift in me again, and my enhanced senses faded away.

"Get this shape-shifter out of the way before this house turns into World War Three." My father commanded, still staring at the hole and unsettling dust. It was really astonishing of how my father was acting towards me now because it simply wasn't like this before.

And- wait. Wait a second. A shape-shifter?! Red T-Rex?! Oh, no, this could only mean one thing. Why didn't I connect this before? I turned my head to look at the T-Rex, but in its place was a familiar ginger.

Peter.

Pickett.

Shock ran through me to actually see that this kid had a backbone, but I really wasn't surprised that this idiot got electrocuted. I hurriedly grabbed his ankles and started to drag him across the floor. It really wasn't much work since he was thin as the wire of a paperclip.

I reached the kitchen in time ot hear sounds of battle raging just out in the chandelier room. I sighed, knowing I was stuck in deep horse dung, but I just had to deal with it. I grabbed a large bowl from a cabinet and started filling it up with ice and cold water. At least I was able to do something I've been desiring for ever since I met the idiot.

I waited for a few minutes for the ice to make the water even colder while hearing sounds of crashes and occasionally roars and cries. Smirking evilly, I dragged Peter's torso under a short table. I picked up the bowl, and in a quick motion I dumped the ice cold water with all my force on PeePee's face from under the table.

He jolted awake and quickly tried sitting up, but ended in banging his head under the table.

"Shit! It hurts!" Peter cried, hold his forehead while lowering back down onto the floor. I simply just smirked a him while he figured out what had happened and scooted out from under ther table. "You really suck, Evelyn. That was really a jerk move after I tried saving your life."

I felt guilt hit me as I realized I was being an asshole like he was before- Peter did intervene and attempted to help me while I just pulled a silly prank on him. I did not want to become like him because I was better than that.

I said something that one would rarely hear me say. "I'm sorry, I was being a prick. We're in the middle of something trying to kill us and I did something childish." Peter looked like he had a heart attack at what I just told him. "But don't expect me apologizing to you all the time, though. You did deserve that after all."

Peter cried out dramatically, "I don't care if you insulted me after you apologized. Did you hear that everyone? The one and only Evelyn apologized to me!" He threw his hands up in the air. "I can die happily now." I rolled my eyes, clamping my mouth shut to stop further offensive comments.

His victorious moment was soon crashed- literally- as the violet creature was flung into the kitchen, creating another hole through a wall. Peter was soon on the move as he turned back into the red T-Rex, and pounced on the other creature.

I knew it wasn't my place to fight because I was inexperienced, so I ran out of the kitchen and mansion. Only, I was met with another creature who belonged to the very same nightmare I've been having for six years.

IT was the creature I had battled in the very same nightmare. IT was another half-and-half like me, according to my nightmare. IT possessed the creature traits of a shape-shifter and an elemental ability of darkness, like me.

IT was in the same form as in the dream- an inky black dragon with diamond-like glittering scales. An evil, ominous auroa was lingering around it like a cobra.

A powerful sense of feeling threatened rung through me, as I felt something shift in me again, and I knew I was in my Hunter mode once more.

Before IT had a chance to lung at me, I sprinted off into the forest.
