Annalise

*flashback*

"Anna! Look!" Ashton yelled. I looked up. We were almost at the top. Ashton had decided that we could go out and go farther out of the city, and climb to tallest hill. He told me that we could see everything in the city from up there. Ashton, being seventeen, he knows a lot of places to go. I was fourteen at the time.

I know, that doesn't sound good. But I really loved him, and I didn't care how old I was. He knew I was in love with him, that's why he took me out. Honestly, I didn't think he wanted me, I thought he only loved me as a friend.

Finally, we were at the top. I was put out of breath so I sat down. Then I saw it. It was beautiful. I could see everything from the tall buildings, to little stores.

I looked at Ashton, and he smiled. "Beautiful," he said. "It definitely is, Irwin," I said, and smiled at him. "I'm not talking about the view. I'm talking about you," he said.

I knew I was blushing at that point. That was the cheesiest thing he's ever said, but I didn't care. That was sweet. "Ashton. What do you want in life? Where do you want to go?" I asked. He looked out at the city.

"I don't even want to go anywhere. I think I want everything that's in this city. I don't want anything to change. It's perfect," he said. He was right. Everything is exactly the way you want it to be.

"Same. I want everything the way it is right now. Especially this," I said, smiling at him. He leaned in, and kissed me. He made the perfect time kiss me too. He was my first kiss. I was happy that it was with him. At the time I was desperately in love with him.

Nothing has changed with that, honestly.

*flashback ends*

5:52 a.m.

A little more than hour left of this shit. I'm stuck in a basement once again. This time, I am all alone. The lights are off, and nobody is here. Though, once in a while I hear a noise and it freaks the shit out of me.

Being alone in a dark basement, it some freaky shit. I don't like it one bit. Although, I'm glad the men aren't here to torture me.

Ashton is so terrible. I hate him. Ashton could have said no and made another deal with the guy. But, no, he made me go with him and he even pointed his gun at me.

I hear door open from the top of the basement stairs. Then footsteps. I still couldn't see anything but I know they can hear me breathing.

I don't know how, but they came right up to me, no problem. I can feel them starting to cut the rope around my legs. When I feel my legs free, I feel them go for my hands.

Once my hands were free, they helped me stand up. The person has big hands, so I'm going to assume it's a guy. I want to ask who "he" is, but I am too scared.

"He" starts to walk up the stairs, pulling me with "him". I follow "him" up the stairs and I trip going up. I get up and continue to follow.

Once we go to the top of the stairs, the upstairs is light so I can see. Not who I expected, but I was right it's a guy. Though, I'm very glad he's here to get me out of here.
