11:10 p.m.

We all ran out of Calum's apartment. Ashton decided for Calum to come out with us, Ashton still has one thing to do, I don't know what it is.

"Do I have to kill anyone?" Calum asks from beside me. "Yes, we all are," says Ashton. "I don't want to kill anyone," Calum says. Ashton stops and points his gun at Calum. "You sure didn't give a fuck when your buddy killed my sister," Ashton says.

"He didn't tell me that he was doing that. I don't want to kill anybody, and I didn't want to kill anybody last year either," Calum says. I point my gun at him too. "What are you doing?" Calum asks me.

"If you didn't want to kill anyone, why were you outside during purge? Can you explain that?" I ask. Calum looks down, then back up at me. He closes his eyes for a second, then opens them back up.

He quickly shoots Ashton in the chest and runs. "Ashton!" I yell. I run to him. I hold him up so he doesn't fall. "Ashton, stay with me. We have to keep walking. Ashton, please," I say, crying now.

"A-Anna," he whispers. "Ashton, please," I say. He wipes away my tears. "Anna, go find Calum. Kill him," he says. "I'll take you to Calum's house to rest, you have to stay with me Ashton, please," I say, still crying.

He just nods. Luckily, I can see Calum's house from here. I help him walk and we quickly go back to Calum's house.

We go back inside. I take Ashton in Calum's bedroom. I lay him down and just look at him. "Anna, come h-here," he says.

I get closer to him and he pulls me close. "Listen, you have t-to be careful," he says. "I know, but just stop talking. I need you to rest. I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?" I say. He nods and pulls me even closer, so close our lips are just an inch about.

He kisses me, and smiles. I smile back at him. "Now go, I want h-him dead," Ashton says. I nod and run out, making sure to lock the door behind me.

Looks like I'm going to be alone during the purge.
