City Lights

I never knew that seeing a building could be so weird. My parents and I are driving through the big city of New York. "Shelby and Hannah and Jay have been around so many times" Mum tells me. "I don't want to see them" I say angrily. "Okay, okay" She says holding up her hands in surrender. As soon as I get home I run to my room and flop onto my bed and pull out my new phone Mum had bought me, I swipe the screen and then go onto messages. I had given Kian a phone before I left so we could always keep in contact.

 Hey Kian, I miss you xx 

                                                                  Hey, Beth miss you too, how is the city?

No reply... I already feel like I'm losing him. It's so weird being millions of miles away from them. God, it hurts.

I hear the phone ring downstairs and an answer from my Mum. "Yes, Jay she is home now. I'm not sure whether she wants to see you though" About 10 minutes later the doorbell sounds. "Hi Jay, she's upstairs. I hear my door open and see the familiar face of my good looking boyfriend. I could almost fall for him again but then I remember thoughtful, kind and nature loving Kian. "What are you doing here, I told you we're over" I snap. "Please give me a chance the only reason I kissed her was because I imagined her as you" He says. "You're history i already have Kian" i say. "Oh right the dude that lives like 1000 million miles away, he's probably forgotten you already" He says rudely. "You know nothing now leave before I call the police"I yell. "Whatever, Hannah is hotter then you anyway" He snarls. 

Its been 2 days now of no reply's from Kian and the day Mum is forcing me to go to school. She and Dad have taken the last 2 day off to spend 'Quality family time'. I have my ugly grey and white uniform on. I look up at the gates that read St Reifs and slip through just as the bell rings. Everyone is fussing around me like I am some kind of god "OMG are you ok". "Someone mentioned someone called Kian" "Are you and Jay over?" Shelby grabs my arm and steers me out of the crowds of people. "Hey sorry about them" I can smell smoke on her breath. "So are you and Jay over because i kinda like him and wondering If i had your permission to date him" She says smiling hopefully. That's when I run I block out Shelby's calls and i just run out of the school. I am sick of everything I just want to be back on the island with the tribe and Kian not lying cheating, selfish, drama loving city kids. I wish i had never come here. I pull out my phone 

Kian, haven't heard from you for a while. School is horrible. Missing you like mad, i so badly wanna come back. Love you xx

No reply, thats the 5th text I have sent. I wish I had never left. I then throw my phone in a perfect arch into a puddle. I'm done. I am going back and no one can stop me...
