Timothee was visiting his grandparents in another country for two months so Meggan and him didn't talk much, they never did. A week passed by, Micah seen Meggan crying alone at lunch, so he walked over to the ugly brown bench to talk to her. He didn't know what to say since he didn't know her very well, but it was too late to turn back this time, as he tried many times to walk up to her but turned away before she noticed him. With tears rolling down her rosy cheeks and down her neck she looked at him for a second with a confused look as he sat down next to her and buried her face back into her small arms. It was getting a little bit awkward because he was almost like a stranger to her so he started to talk the best he could. With his deep country boy voice he said
"My name is Micah by the way. I seen you 'round the school a lot." He was obviously confused and nervous on what to say to make her feel better "I think we have a class or two together." He knew for sure they had almost all their classes together but he didn't want her to think he was a weirdo who noticed everything she did.
He knew he didn't have a chance to be her boyfriend but he might have a slight chance to be her friend. He noticed she stopped crying, her arms were still folded together sitting on the bench. He tried to look at her face so he put his rough hands, gently, under her chin and brought her head up to where their blue eyes met.
They both got lost in each other's eyes, not saying a word. It was like they were all alone in a different world. Suddenly the bell rang and made both of them jump and break their eye contact, Meggan shook her head a little and almost ran to her class.
