It was midnight now and Micah's parents were headed home, when they got there they seen Micah and Meggan sleeping on the couch her body on his, his head was buried in her long blond hair, legs intertwined, and hands folded together.
"I told you they liked each other." Micah's mom said to his stepdad with a smile, then put a quilted blanket on them and went to their room to go to bed.
That morning Meggan was the first to wake up, she remembered what happened last night and knew she made a beautiful mistake by kissing him. She tried to get out as fast as she could since she knew she had school and she probably didn't break it off completely because Timothee has a hard head.
When she tried to get off Micah and the green couch it woke him up. "Are you leaving?" He said in a tired voice as she was looking for her shoes.
"Micah, this wasn't right, i'm still technically with Timothee, and you with Nia. It's wrong we need to forget about last night." she whispered, he sat up woke up a bit more and said "But i don't want to forget it, i love you. Nia has cheated and lied to me countless times," he lightly shook his head "but i don't like to hurt people so I didn't do anything about it. I didn't let you know that i loved you because i never thought you would love someone like me." he looked down with his fingers clasped together and his elbows resting on his legs, and that lump in his throat.
She came closer to him crouched down on one knee and with her left hand on his knee and her right hand holding her shoes "Don't talk about yourself in a bad way." She paused for a second "I love you too but Timothee will do something stupid if i'm not there to stop him."
"Meggan, you can't do that to yourself." He looked up at her "I see you with him and i know you don't want to be." he continued looking at her "You're right about that but... i don't know what to do." tears rolled down her face as her head slowly looked down at the floor
"Be with me." He suggested, she didn't say anything just softly kissed his cheek and left. He just sat on the couch for a second worried about what the day will bring him.
