Asgore, the Caretaker of the RUINS, had taught you everything about the RUINS. You have met different monsters inside the RUINS. Such as the Froggit, a Whimsun, a Veggietoid and Mettaton.
And now? You were seated into one of the chairs inside Asgore's cozy home. A hot tea in your hands as you waited him to finish the pie he was baking. It was a nice and comfy feeling this house was giving you. Asgore had even gave you a room and you were grateful for it.
But you wanted to go back home. You needed to. You planned on asking him the way out after eating pie. Because why not? As Asgore served the pie, the two of you ate it together happily. Chit chatting through the process.
After that, you hadn't realized that you had fallen asleep. You awoke inside the room Asgore had given you. You rubbed your eyes and saw a slice of pie on the ground. You smiled and put the piece in your bag. How you did it? You don't know.
You wondered how long you were asleep but shrugged it off as you decided to explore the wonders of Asgore's home. You walked through the place and saw a room that is under renovations. A little farther was a desk, a vase of buttercups placed on it. Then a little farther was a room. You assumed that it was Asgore's and without further a due, you twisted the door knob and entered the comfort of the room.
It was quite small compared to yours and on the desk was a book. You walked towards it and realized it was a diary. Asgore's diary.
* Would you dare look inside it?
❤ Yes. × No.You opened the book into a certain page that had been bookmarked.
A certain passage was written there.
Why didn't the skeleton go to the party?
Yu furrowed your eyebrows at the question and proceeded into reading some more.
Because he had no BODY to take with.
You could've sworn your eyeballs almost fell at the sudden pun thrown at you. You bit your lip to contain the laugh. You were so vulnerable into these kinds of jokes no matter how lame it sounded in the ears of others.
You closed the book and left it with a snicker. You neared one of Asgore's drawers.
* Do you want to open it?
❤ Yes. × No.You opened the drawer. HOW SCANDALOUS!!
It was Asgore's sock drawer. You closed the drawer with a tint pinkish hue spread across your cheeks. Were you expecting something else in there?
You shrugged the thought quickly and went into the shelf of books, a certain book about flowers were there. You read some of the passage until you placed the book back. You were about to leave when you noticed the trash can. You peaked into it slowly and saw nothing but snail shells.
You shook your head and left the room cautiously. Beside Asgore's room was a long mirror. You decided to check yourself in the mirror.
* Despite everything that has happened . . . it was still YOU.
You smiled at yourself in the mirror before finally deciding to ask Asgore how to leave the RUINS. You neared the living room and saw the creature sitting comfortably on his chair. A book in his hand as the fireplace was lit with fire magic.
"Asgore!" You exclaimed, rushing to the goat creature and tackling him with all your might. Earning a grunt from him as he chuckled and returned your friendly hug, "Yes, child? Did you have a good sleep?" You nodded and smiled, "I did, thanks for asking!" Asgore smiled down at you before returning to his book. Assuming that you had nothing else to say.
"Say, Asgore?" You called, earning a hum from the furry creature, "How do I leave the RUINS?"
