You know what? Terrence is way more better to talk with more than Corina.I'm not saying that Corina is that bad, well she is but sometimes Corina goes tactless that makes me loose interest.
Right now, we are walking back inside because Corina called and the last ceremony will be done."Where have you been?" She asked.
"Just a walk around the place" I explained.
"Oh yeah? Getting comfortable with each other eh?" She teased.
"Okay now, Terrence take Cecile in the assembly area and wait for me" She ordered and walked away.
"She's getting bossy right?" Terrence muttered.
"I know, but she's the coordinator of this affair so let's just understand her."
"Well she wants perfection." He added.
We sat down near this young lovers who's getting quite public. Awkward.
"I guess we should go and find another place to sit." I whispered.
"Thank God you said that." He whispered back
We moved to other side of the assembly area and I guess I'm getting comfortable talking with with him. Like I said, he's way better. He talks about books, the movies he saw, how he lasted being alone for a very long count of years and everything that's good to hear. I don't get to share a lot to him. Little by little maybe.
"Good evening once again people" Diana on the podium
"This time, the next thing we'll do would be the dance to whom you'd like to. Remember your prom? It'll happen again here tonight. Is that okay?"
Everybody shouted yes in response and the DJ started playing a song. Then the crowd started to assemble in the center and a very wonderful song fills the whole place giving such a good vibe. Everybody started dancing with their partner, and I'm just here sitting watching them."Hey, uhm.. Do you want to --- dance?" He stood up and lend his hand like a gentleman. I stood up and took his shaky hands and pulled him towards the crowd. We stood there for almost few minutes because no one would take the first step. I can't do it because the only dance I know very well is the dance that Barney teaches you on T.V. I'm serious.
"Is it just me, or we're just standing here." I should talk first.
"I know." He muttered.
"I hope you dance" I muttered. But he heard it.
He nodded and slowly took my both hands and placed where it should be. I'm getting the chills all over my body. This is the first time I am able to dance with someone. He started to go sideward and I followed him. Then he moved sideward again. He shifted to the other side and I'm just following him where he's moving. Trying not to step on his feet. We danced for quite a long time and we're just being quiet like everyone. They are feeling comfortable, well not for me. Maybe the two of us.
"Hey, what's that? You should stay closer, Diana is coming!" I did noticed Corina from behind. She pushed me and we got extremely close.
"Don't move back, put your head on his shoulder" She muttered in command. So I did it although I'm feeling not so comfortable. This guy smells so good. A very manly perfume. And I can feel his stiff body and his shaved beard through my temple. I'm getting even more nervous.
"Ugh... Such a perfect couple" Diana looking beside us together with her boyfriend. I just smiled at her and continued following where Terrence's body goes.
"Can I remove my head now?" I muttered
"She's near us" He whispered back.
"Holy cow"
"I guess we'll stay like this for quite a while Cecile" He said and it made my heart pound. Oh no.
