*Percy's POV*

If there's one thing I know, it’s that a really big smelly dude with a diaper can really put a damper on a relationship. In fact, I’m surprised that's not a TV show, SUMO WRESTLER STOLE MY GIRLFRIEND!

Anyway, here I am, dragging my semi-conscious, depressed, lovely-looking, mumbling fiancé towards the Big House.

I was kind of getting a little bit desperate, Annabeth wouldn't even talk to me, and she barely even looked at me when I held her hand. I was losing my Wise Girl.

So, I did the smart thing, and called an expert on romance, the pro on love, the connoisseur for dating.

I called an immortal maiden girl who probably never even kissed a guy.

And she told me to call my mom.

Pshh, I thought. Like I didn't think of that, eh, oh whatever.

I draped my arm around Annabeth's waist, partly to steady her, partly because she hasn't even let me touch her to help her, and I'm gonna take what I can get.

"I love you, Wise Girl," I whispered in her ear as we walked up the steps onto the Big House porch.

Annabeth mumbled something like I love you too, Seaweed Brain.

"Why are we here, Percy? I don't want to talk to Chiron. I want to go back and lie down." Annabeth said softly.

I was overjoyed that she said something at least, even though it was a slight whine.

As we stepped into the doorway, Annabeth and I were greeted with a shout, “Hey, Sardine Boy! Can we get this show on the road? I may be immortal, but I haven’t got all day!”

I could have sworn I saw a very tiny smile on Annabeth’s face when she saw her best friend Thalia.

Annabeth gazed around the room where we held our most top-secret, classified team meetings (catered by Cheez Whiz of course)which was now occupied by our closest friends and family (or whoever wasn’t busy on such a short notice.)

“So glad you could make it! Seriously, I’m so glad everyone could make it, I mean you all mean so much to Annabeth and I and to come and help us shows just how much we all care for one another.” I emphasized on my mini-speech.

“Touching, very touching, really Percy, you’re gonna make me cry!” Leo pretended to wipe a fake tear.

“Not that I don’t love seeing you Perc, but I would like to know why you called me to come here.” My mom gave me a half caring, half worried smile. Paul wasn’t there because he had to visit his sister. I had asked Chiron to make an exception with the mortal-rule here in camp. That’s how my mom and Annabeth’s dad got in here.

“Well, as some of you know, there was a little ‘incident’ at the engagement party our friends threw us last night.” I made air quotes at ‘incident’.

“ENGAGEMENT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN ENGAGEMENT?!??!?!?!?!?!?” Annabeth and I were screamed at by Thalia, Grover, and Annabeth’s dad.

Annabeth’s dad?  A thought dawned on me. Annabeth didn’t tell him? Oh gods…

I shot a glance at Annabeth and mentally said to her, hoping she’d get the message, you didn’t tell him?

Don’t you think I’ve just been a tad busy? Annabeth spoke back, or at least I hope.

I took the bullet first. “Um, yes, I proposed to Annabeth a few days ago, but we have been extremely pre-occupied to be making phone calls to everyone, and we’re really, really sorry. Anyways, I’d like to get to why we’re here. This will come as another shock to you all.” I cleared my throat and took Annabeth’s hand in mine. “We’re pregnant.”

Silence can be deadly, and trust me, I know, because imagine if you’re fighting a monster with a friend. That friend has just fallen, and they hand you one last curse, silence, and you know it’s not going to be good. This may just be worse.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN, PREGNANT?!?!?!?!” shouted one of the very last people I’d want shouting at me right now.

I whipped around as Annabeth gasped and I stared face to face with the wisdom goddess herself, and my future mother-in-law.

I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY. I HAVE SO MANY EXCUSES AS TO WHY I HAVEN’T UPDATED IN SO LONG BUT MY MOST IMPORTANT ONE IS SCHOOL: I HAVE SIGNED UP FOR WAY TO MANY EXTRA-CURRICULARS THAN I CAN HANDLE, I’M BALANCING TWO AP CLASSES AND OF COURSE, AS YOU’D EXPECT, IM THAT NERD KID WHO ALWAYS GETS STRAIGHT A’S AND NOTHING LESS AND ALSO WORKS IN THE LIBRARY DURING STUDY HALLS. PHEW, SORRY YOU HAD TO LISTEN TO THAT IF YOU READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH! I HAVE PLANNED A LOT MORE OF THIS BOOK OUT AND I PRETTY MUCH HAVE MADE UP MY MIND ON NAMES (I’VE SELECTED A FEW TO KEEP IN MY MIND WHEN THE PART COMES UP) BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE YOURS CONSIDERED GO AHEAD AND STILL COMMENT! THANKS SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU GUYS!!!!

OH AND SORRY FOR THE CLIFFIE! (~EVIL LAUGH~)
