A Heart Split in Two (To be Continued)

Chapter 6.

~Lea~

The week I have spent with her has been one of the most fun I have ever had. we watched tons of movies, eat lots of junk food, yesterday we even made forts out of pillows and stuff, we were kids again for a week.

Sadly the week is now over, and I have to return to my house, and do a crap ton of homework. After hugging Skyler goodbye and getting in my car, I drive back to the house.

"Welcome back sis." Fiona says as soon as I open the door. she steps aside to let me through. "Where have you been for the last week, I know you lied to mom, you don't have any friends." she says with a smirk.

"For your information I do have a friend, Her name is Skyler, I spent the week taking care of her after she hit her head really hard."

I hear my sister let out something close to a growl before her face softens up again. "Wait, what happened to Skyler, is she ok?"

"Yes she is ok, now. Last week she took a bad tumble while getting on a bus to get home, fell backward and hit her head, cracking her skull and giving herself a bad concussion. I got time off school to watch over her and make sure the injuries didn't get worse." Her face starts growing angry again.

"Stay away from Skyler, I don't care if you helped her, she is mine, I saw her first, back off." And there goes my sister's bitch side again.

I scoff and move to my room and unpack my bag of clothes. I lay on my bed and think about the week we spent together.

~Fiona~

Unbelievable. Just unbelievable, she spent an entire week with MY girl. I saw her first, this isn't fair, she is MINE. I was curious about why she wasn't in school, somebody said she was sick, so I just went with that, but I didn't think that had anything to do with where Lea was at.

Tomorrow ill make her fully mine, my sister cant take her away from me. I have got to come up with a plan to win her over.

I know she is innocent, adorably so, and probably wont go with me if I use my normal means. I call up one of my friends to create a plan that is sure to work.

~Skyler, the next day~

This last week was amazing, but sadly its over and I have to go back to school. My mom had returned home yesterday so she drops me off at school. I get out of the car and walk over to jasmine who is waiting by the entrance.

"So... how was your week with the cute girl?" she says with a laugh. she did come over a couple times but for some reason didn't stay for very long, seemed to have other things on her mind and whenever she saw Lea she left the house laughing.

"For the 5th time jasmine, she is just a friend, I don't even think she has a romantic interest in me." I say walking over to my locker and grab my books.

"I don't know about that, I see the way she looks at you." I blush a little bit but manage to hide it before she sees it.

"What are you talking about? If she liked me she would have made her move, we were alone in a house for a week."

"She isn't that type of girl, unlike her sister. give it some time, she will confess sooner or later." we go inside the classroom.

"Welcome back to class, im glad your doing better" The teacher says as we walk by and go to our seats. Soon after Fiona comes in and sits in her seat, she smiles and waves at me passing me a note that says "Meet me outside during lunch, I have a surprise for you". I put the note in my pocket blushing and Jasmine winks at me, having snuck a peak at the letter.

~Lunch time~

After getting my lunch I go outside. she isn't there so I decide to wait as sure enough she appears a few minutes later with her lunch. we sit down and eat, after we are done I look at her.

"So, what is this surprise you have for me, I don't really like surpr..." I didn't get to finish my sentence before she pulls me by the collar of my jacket and smashes her mouth into mine. It takes me a little bit before I start kissing back.

I don't know why I did, and I don't know why im not panicking, its all weird to me.

We stay like that, kissing, getting rather heated until I hear a tray crash to the floor. I pull back a little dazed and see Lea standing there, looking like she is about to cry.

I quickly snap out of my daze and start to move over to her to see what's wrong and she runs away. I hear laughing and turn to see Fiona laughing with her friend. I glare at both of them and start to run in the direction Lea went.
