The Chupacabra is a myth, for it has been a traditional story passed down from many generations.  Weirdly, the chupacabra has mostly been seen in south America and Mexico. It's also been sighted in certain parts of Central America. But why only the countries with Hispanic people? Nobody knows. Meaning "goat sucker" in Spanish, the chupacabra is mainly described as having a dog's body and very large teeth.

Some local farmers in these Latin American countries suggest that the chupacabra stands five feet tall with sharp claws and pointed talons. But these are just what the local farmers say, It is not true. chupacabra is a dog like a creature. It could be a mutated coyote or something of that sort. So why did a chupacabra start showing up all of a sudden? Some people say that the chupacabra is the result of a twisted, sick U.S. experiment gone wrong, others say that it is an extraterrestrial alien that came to earth.

Once local hunters in Mexico and South America finally caught and killed a dead chupacabra, they were donated to testing labs. After being tested for DNA, they were identified as a coyote with a disease called mange. This disease makes dogs and coyotes lose all of their furs. Then wildlife biologists and Geneticists analyzed the bite marks on the farmer's animal's necks to their teeth. They did not match up at all. This is what a dead chupacabra looks like:

So if the dead "chupacabra" that they found didn't kill the farmer's livestock, then what did? The answer is clear and simple: No one will ever know

So if the dead "chupacabra" that they found didn't kill the farmer's livestock, then what did? The answer is clear and simple: No one will ever know. That coyote with mange was only a cover up for the real monster. Animal experts say that wild pumas and coyotes will bite the neck of their victims and leave them to die. This may be the answer to this mystery, it may not be.

Other people believe that the chupacabra is a deformed mutated animal that survived from a long time ago. This may be true in the midst of  mixture of alien and dog like sightings. There are so many theories that you can't decide which one to side with. Some people might just make up chupacabra theories just to get attention.

What I really believe is what the other people believe: that the chupacabra is a deformed animal that survived from a long time ago. If you were to look up chupacabra on google images, you would mostly get overall pictures of mutated dogs. Think of it this way: how did humans evolve? We started out as neanderthals, very tall and strong beings who didn't fully develop their nerves. Now look at us: average human is five feet with nerves on every part of our body.

If the chupacabra started out as an eight-foot tall creature that looked somewhat like a dog, that would kind of match how we evolved. We used to be stronger, the chupacabra probably was too. Now look at us and the chupacabra. We're both not as strong as we were hundreds of years ago.

So what I really want ask is: is the chupacabra real or not? Some say it is, some say it's a load of hogwash. What I really believe is that the chupacabra is real. I mean, just look at the evidence! No one will ever know if it is real or not. One thing I believe for sure is that it's still out there, looking for the next animal to kill. Write your opinion in the comments below!
