Chapter 4
-I woke up feeling the sun shining on my face and the feeling that I was moving. I opened my eyes to see a glint of sunshine coming through the blinds. I hear the sweet sound of music and sit up in my bunk, careful not to hit my head and climbed down to see Crim softly playing on her electric guitar without the amp. She looks up as I come down and sit on the small couch that is under my bed and smiles.
"Hey sleepyhead." Her voice is relaxed like a sweet warm angel
"Hey." I pull the blinds slightly back to reveal the road and saw that we were moving. "We're already on the move?" I ask and she nods,
"We only stay about a day or 2 in each place, we arrived in Detroit (our home town) two days ago and left last night. You passed out before you even got changed last night and I just let you be because I assumed you probably needed the sleep."
"Well you were right, I did!" I joked and she smiled again. "When do you think we'll be in the next city?" I ask.
"Probably early tonight, our next stop is New York." I nod as I search through my bag and pick out my clothes for the day, I pick out a gray sweatshirt with the word 'Rebel' on it and another pair of black skinny jeans. I walk out to the bathroom and quickly took a shower and changed, I look at myself in the mirror and notice my hair's a mess. I take it out and run my fingers through it like a comb. It wavy now and I take part of it and put it in a half up leaving my dyed black bangs out. I left the bathroom and headed back to our room, I passed Logan's room on the way and saw the door was slightly cracked. I peeked in and saw he was up and had his back to the door, he was writing something. I get back to our room and notice the door is shut, I'm about to knock when I hear hushed voices.
"Just don't let her see it. It needs to be a surprise."
"Dude I got this, have I ever hidden something that got found before it was intended to?"
"Haha no, love you. Thank you." I shake myself from the daze I had been in and knock on the door,
"Come in." I hear Crims voice and I walk in to see her and Ash standing side by side. After a few seconds it had been sufficiently awkward and I went over to my bunk and set my old clothes in a pile.
"Hey Erin, have you ever stood on top of a bus while it's been driving?" Ash asks and I turn around and face him.
"What?!" I ask in a surprised voice.
"C'mon, I'll show you!" He starts toward the door and in a daze I follow, just before I leave I see Crim take something out from behind her but can't quite pinpoint what it is. I follow Ash to the front where Axel, Cash, and Christian are watching TV. Ash clicks a button on the opposite wall and the wall actually disappears, what's left is a ladder which he starts up and I have no choice but to follow. I feel a gust of wind and look up to see Ash had opened a small trapdoor and was slowly climbing through it I came up behind him and he helped me up. I steadied myself and I realized I was on the roof of the tour bus, there was no railing. Just me and Ash and he put his hands around my waist as he lifted me into a standing position and held me tight. My hair flew behind me and the bus sped down the dusty road, I feel Ash's face by mine and look to see him smiling at me, his own black hair blowing in the wind. His sharp blue eyes have an admiration showing and his mouth is adjusted into a smile which makes his lip piercing make him even more beautiful.
"You know, whenever I'm up here I say something I would never say to anyone else. What would you say?" He yells over the wind. I think about it for a moment and then I closed my eyes and raise my head as if I was shouting to the heavens and yelled,
"I dream of playing in a band and being accepted for who I am! For everything to be ok!" I turn around with Andy still steadying me and hug him.
"Now that's what I'm talking about Erin." I smile and can't help myself from asking,
"You like Crim don't you?" He hugs me tighter and says in a firm and small voice,
"Yes, I do. But you will forever be my lifelong friend you hear me?" He says looking me in the eye. I nod and smile, he guides me back to the trapdoor and let's me go to let me go in first and just then a huge gust of wind strikes and blows me unstable and I topple over, landing on my back on the edge of the bus.
"Erin!" I hear Ash call and I struggle to regain a hold and fight the wind pulling me down.
"ASH!" Fear filled my chest as he ran towards me, I was sliding fast and when I couldn't feel the bus underneath me I panicked, I yelled at the top of my lungs,
"ASH! PLEASE!" I crumpled to the ground with a cracking thud. The bus travels by but I soon see it stop as Ash comes jumping out the door. I see him bounding towards me, Christian following closely behind him. That's when the pain hit me really, when I tried to sit up a splitting pain inflamed my chest. I clutched my side and gasped in pain, Ash reached me and kneeled down, picking me up and hearing my shouts of utter agony.
"She fell pretty far, I think she broke a rib or 2" I hear as Ash kisses my forehead and Christian's hand strokes my arm.
"Let's get her inside the bus and see what we can do." I hear Christian say and I'm being rushed back to the bus. The splitting feeling in my side and chest never ends and my vision goes red for a moment. I'm laid down on the couch and everyone is surrounding me. I hear yelling and shouting. Ash says,
"It's all my fault, gosh I'm sorry. If I hadn't let go of her this wouldn't have fricking happened. CRAP!" Then a new voice joins the mix,
"Broken ribs? I'm no doctor but I can help." I see a face hover above mine before my vision fades.

The first thing I feel when consciousness visits me is feeling flooding through my body. First soothing warmth, then pain and memories. I remember the roof, slipping and falling. All of a sudden I take a huge breath in and open my eyes wide, my breathing is uncontrolled as pain also joins the mix and I'm coughing and trying to sit up and clutching my throat. I couldn't breath.
