Oh, Alexa. Jeez, this girl is a dream. Well, at least that that's what Dad said when he first met Mom. She moved here from California, maybe a month ago. Her dad got transferred, so she lived a few blocks down from the apartment where I live. Sometimes we get partnered up, so we just walk to each others houses. She is an only child, so her and Michiko have a lot of girl moments. They cannot compete with the best friend relationship that Mason and I have though. But I think we have a connection that's pretty cool too. But we didn't meet her until the beginning of ninth grade.
She smiles at me all silly, with a smile that no one can replicate. She likes performing arts more than anyone I know. Whenever we sings, she looks at me with soft eyes, then smiles with that smile. Whenever we are around each other, we have these moments, its's kind of hard to describe. I just know that my palms get really sweaty, I get short breathed, I start smiling uncontrollably, and I start babbling like my mom does in any situation.
I always like knowing that I have my parents approval, but this one is over the top. At dinner, they bring her up, and then point out that I blush, or start smiling. They love my friends, although, Dad says he is going to be more cautious when the baby girl comes. Then again, so will I.
