"Jack?"

"You, you have to go."

"I thought you loved me?" She whispered, clutching the blanket to her chest.

"Please Elsa, you have to go." I begged, looking at the door nervously, any minute now and Vanessa's mother will be through the door.

"Jack? You're going to leave me?" She whispered, tears dribbling down her cheeks.

Instead of answering, I kissed her passionately before the door burst open.

"I'm sorry." I whispered only for her to hear.

"GET OUT OF HERE! I DON'T LOVE YOU!"

Elsa's eyes widened as she looked at the smirking brunette and her mother in the doorway.

"Jack?" Her voice broke, more tears flowed down her cheeks. Her nose was turning red and so were her blue eyes.

"LEAVE!" I said looking down, not giving her eye contact.

Slowly Elsa got up and walked over to me.

"Jack I thought you were gonna fight for me." She whispered, closing her eyes and placing her hands on my chest.

"So did I." I whispered. Then I came to reality and pushed her away.

She tripped and fell on the ground in front of Vanessa's feet.

"Did you hear my fiancé? Get out whore." She smirked, stepping over Elsa and walking to me.

"Oh Jack, I knew you loved me."

I nodded and kissed her caked up cheek. I could taste her powder and cream that she applied on her face just before and it tasted awful.

Elsa was gone. The one thing I loved and knew.

It got to hard, she made me happy, but I made her sad. It got to hard, loving one girl and pretending to love another.

And if I stopped pretending, then I would stop loving, because they would kill Elsa.

I swear it will get easier. I'll get her back.

I stared at the photograph of Jack, he wasn't expecting a photo, he had just jumped off the roof into a pile of snow, he still had snowflakes and snow in his hair. His blue eyes sparkled and he had that mischievous smirk on his face.
We were so happy, hearts were never broken, time forever frozen.

I breathed in shakily and slipped back inside the pocket of my ripped jeans.

I miss him...

He left me. He said he would never let me go. But he did.

He fixed me, love was the only thing I knew when I was with him. I still love him.

I patted the photo as I stepped onto the train, about to leave Burgess.

"Wait for me to come home." I whispered, I saw him run out the church, he was getting married today.

He ran towards the station and I watched as the girl he was marrying chased him too.

He was running to me.

The doors closed and I felt the train leave.

Jack's fists banged against the door as we slowly left.

"I'll remember how you kissed me, under the lamp post, back on sixth street. I'll fit you in the necklace you bought me when I was sixteen. We kept our love in this photograph, but it's gone now." I whispered, feeling tears fall down.
