The immaculate 5 year old neatly coloured in her drawing of the boy. He had white hair, blue eyes, pale skin, blue hoodie, brown jeans, a shepherds stick and a mischievous smirk.

"Honey, who's this?"

"It's Frosty!" She smiled, hugging the picture close to her chest, crumpling it slightly.

She ran to her room and stuck it on the wall with blu-tack.

"Frosty! Frosty! I drew a picture!"

That night Jack Frost walked through the special door and came out through Elsa's cupboard, he smiled at the picture of him that Elsa had drawn and coloured earlier.

He tapped Elsa's nose and she woke up, tired and angry, but her expression changed to a happy one when she saw Jack.

"Frosty!"

"Hey snowflake." He smiled, hugging her.

Jack walked through the door, Elsa was 12 now, thirteen tomorrow, and tonight was the last night she would see Jack.

"Jack." She smiled as he entered her room.

He smiled weakly and hugged her, he would miss her terribly.

She had grown to be a lovely girl. Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, tall, skinny, happy.

She was still neat and immaculate, gracious and elegant as well as she grew older.

The older she grew, the more Jack faded, becoming nearly transparent, although, as his last day he was solid, and he could touch objects, something he hadn't done in some time.

"Jack?"

"Huh?"

He had zoned out, thinking if only she were older they would be together, and if he was human.

"I asked why you looked so... Sad."

"Oh, no reason." He lied, shrugging his shoulders lightly.

"Okay... Oh! I almost forgot to tell you!....."

He nodded and laughed at the appropriate moments, to make it look like he was listening, instead he was thinking how soon, she would never see him again.

Night came too quickly, and Jack left, saying he would be back. But he wouldn't be...

The next morning fresh-faced Elsa woke up, smiling widely.

She noticed Jack wasn't in her room yet which was strange, he usually woke her up.

"Must be in the closet!" She giggled, remembering how once he was stuck in there for an hour.

She got out of her bed and walked to the closet, flinging it open.

"Boo!"

Nothing.

She frowned and closed it again, repeating the opening and closing process desperately. She was whimpering every time she opened the door to find it empty, tears threatened to fall from her eyes, and after the 34th try, she let them.

Once more she opened the door and uttered one word that Jack heard.

"Frosty?"

He never heard a word from her again.

5 years later

"Jack. There's something we need to tell you."

Jack glanced at North, his best friend and boss. North ruled the guardians centre, and he chose who, when and where all the guardians went.

Jack hadn't had a new case in five years, Elsa was his last one.

"Yes North?" He said blankly.

"You have a new ca-"

"I don't want it." He said turning around to leave.

"Yes you do. Look who it is." North smirked, tilting his head to a familiar blue door. Jack looked at North with disbelief.

"E-Elsa?" He whispered, and when North nodded he flew to the door as quick as a flash.

The room was very different, the bed was bigger and instead of a snowmen bed cover, it was a plain light blue blanket. The toys were gone, the drawings ripped from the walls.

There was a girl sitting at a desk, drawing a picture. It was much more detailed than the ones she'd drawn as a five year old.

It was of Jack.

"Y-you remember me?" He whispered.

Her moving hand froze and she tensed up. She turned around and saw Jack. Tears flooded from her eyes as she cried silently.

"Frosty?"

Jack stared at North.

"I can only see her that once?" He whispered.

"I'm sorry Jack. She's simply too old now, it's impossible to have her believing at such an age."

Jack blinked back his tears and nodded.

"Yeah, sorry of course, I wasn't thinking..." He said, flying away.

The door remained, Jack didn't know why, but it did. Usually doors where shredded.

The years flew by, now Elsa would be 24.
