Dear Jack,
I think that's how I'm meant to start this. I know you love your family, your life. And I love mine, but there's one thing that isn't right, I need to live my dream. And so do you Jack, you need to get that record label you need and you need to get your voice out in the world. I need to get into that dance academy and dance.
You always told me I could do great things. Well, I don't want to do great things, I want to do amazing things, call me selfish, I don't want to do them alone. I need someone by my side, all my family is gone, and you're the only thing I have.
Being a girl on her own in a new place, a strange place, anything could happen. But a girl, with her amazing, talented boyfriend, two things are certain. Happiness and success, for both.
I'm leaving to live my dream. I hope you see that eventually you need to stop giving and take a little.
I guess what I'm saying is, come with me. We leave next week, you have 170 hours, 38 minutes and 19 seconds to decide -minus 35 minutes- we have to be there by 5:20, I hope this is long enough to make your decision, I know you can't stand being under pressure.
I love you.
Love Elsa.
Jack read the letter over and over, summing it up in his head. Leave? Leave his family here? Live his dream without his family by his side? Could he do that? No, absolutely not. The ticket was sitting on his desk, taunting him almost.
He folded the letter and sighed, placing it on top of the ticket to New York. He loved his girlfriend, but he loved his family too. He couldn't get another family but he could get another girlfriend.
But none would compare to her.
Her smile, her laugh, her kisses were sweet and tasted like heaven, her eyes, the way she bit her lip, her lips were soft. God she was amazing to him, perfection in a five foot four figure that could dance so gracefully. He was the only thing she had, her family long gone...
But his family, Ma, her five dollar dress with that million dollar smile, Pa, working hard so they could live, Emma, her sweet girl advice that helped him win Elsa, Jamie and his uplifting spirit, Sophie and her adorable 3 year old self.
He couldn't leave either of them. Elsa nor his family, and his family couldn't just up and move to another state.
He groaned and rested his forehead on his left hand, which he then ran through his silvery white hair.
Decisions decisions. He couldn't go but he knew he wanted to.
Elsa stood at the station, waiting for him. He wasn't here. Was he coming?
She sniffed and stood up, wiping her damp eyes. He just didn't love her enough. She sighed and stood up, trying not to cry. Closing her eyes, she gripped her ticket tighter, she almost expected Jack to appear in front of her when she opened her eyes, but he didn't. He wasn't coming, she had to accept that, he had three minutes left, and she was slowly dying inside with every second he wasn't there. She shook her head as the minute hand moved on her watch, two more minutes and his 170 hours, 38 minutes, 19 seconds -minus 35 minutes- would be over.
She stood in line as the intercom boomed, saying that flight twenty-seven to New York was departing soon.
She heard footsteps behind her and on instinct turned around. She frowned, expecting Jack instead she was faced with her dancing squad. This was like her second family, but Jack wasn't in sight. They hadn't talked in so long, not since she gave Emma, his younger sister, the letter and ticket. That was a week and a day ago.
Would that be the last time she'd see him? The last time she kissed him? The last time she called him hers? The last time she got to talk to him?
"You guys, you came?" She whispered, almost about to cry, not because she was touched by their gesture, but because they came and Jack didn't. She smiled brokenly and kicked the ground.
One minute.
"Course we did. We couldn't leave without saying bye." Rapunzel smiled, nodding her head and opening her arms for a hug. Elsa let out a sob and walked into her arms, feeling the rest of the group join as well. She continued crying.
"Jack?" She whispered when they parted from the hug.
Rapunzel looked down, so did the group.
The pain hurt so much, she heard nothing but the beep of my watch, his time was up. It felt like her heart was ripped out my chest, thrown in the air, hit by a plane, dropped into the ocean, fished out, beaten, driven over by a car, cut up, shredded, then glued back together by Sophie and placed back in its spot. But a million times worsted.
But then, Rapunzel looked her in the eye and smiled, then Elsa realised her gaze was at something behind her.
She turned around and saw familiar white hair. He was reading his ticket and looking around, obviously for the section. Then his eyes met hers and it was like the pain washed away with his loving gaze. She covered her mouth with her hands released the grip on her suitcase. She ran, just weaved through the people who had no idea what a girl with tears streaming down her cheeks was doing running in a busy airport, but none of that mattered when she felt his hands on her waist, lifting her up and her lips on his.
She ran her fingers through his hair, smiling happily against his lips. She heard the dance squad 'Aw' and a few strangers join in the chorus. They parted, their foreheads resting against each other's, as they breathe heavily, catching their breath. The intercom reminded the couple to get back in line.
And they lived happily ever after...

Or did they? You decide! Write another part or write your own version from this paragraph in the story;
