Taking strolls at the seaside is one of the things that you love to do, especially when you're doing it with your charming witty boyfriend JaeHyun. The day when you decided to take a stoll at the seaside was not an ordinary day like the others, but it is your 3rd anniversary at that particular day. You walked together hand in hand while watching the sun and the sea colliding passionately.
"Daebak." He said in an amused tone. "Look at that." Jaehyun pointed at the setting sun.
"Beautiful" you commented while looking at the sea. "You know Jaehyun, it amazes me though. To think deeply of it, the sun and the sea still finds its way back together at the end of the day, eventhough they're separated from each other the whole freaking day." You raised your head to glance at your handsome boyfriend.
"Ahhh, nature. It never fails to surprise me with its deep obscure meanings." Jaehyun commented.
"Shut up!" You laughed. "Stop commenting about things that you barely even know."
"Who said that I can't comment about those things, huh?" He chuckled.
"Just shut up!" You laughed harder, causing him to tickle you without mercy.
Minutes passed and the both of you became serious again.
"I wish we could be like the sun and the sea forever." He sighed.
"Nothing's impossible, Love." You said positively. (AN: you call each other Love here.)
"I know... I know Love." He sighed again.
"Then why are you sighing? You seem so hopeless. What's wrong?" You asked, still gripping on to his muscular arm.
"I love you, and you know that." He kissed your forehead slowly.
"Of course I know that." You smiled. "I love you too." You replied tenderly.
"Do you know what day it is today (y/n)?" He questioned you with a grin.
"Of course! Why would I forget this freaking day? It's our 3rd anniversary, Love." You said to Jaehyun in an exaggerated manner.
"That's my girl." He said proudly. Jaehyun wrapped his arms around your waist from the back and he gave you a tight back hug perfect for the romantic ambiance.
"Do you think we're still acting like this ten years from now?" You asked him while he's burrying his face in your neck.
"Ten, twenty... even fifty years. We'll make it through, Love." He replied seriously without any chuckle.
"Promise?" You asked.
"We've set our plans already (y/n). We're going to get married, have babies, get our house done and travel the world with me by your side like you've always wanted to."
Jaehyun is not the type of boyfriend that compromises all the time. When he speaks, he makes sure that he doesn't make someone expect for things that he wouldn't usually do.
"Aww. You're making my heart pound, Love." You were so touched by his tender passionate words. You turned to Jaehyun and kissed him on the lips. The kiss was not full of lust, but it was the kiss of the undenying love for the both of you.
"I'm glad that we've met again after that five year break of ours." Jaehyun added. "Not all couples deserve a second chance." He whispered in your ear while you are hugging him tightly.
"That break made our love even stronger than before." You patted his back like a little child.
"Love..." he started moving both of your bodies and turned the movement into a slow dance.
"Yes, love?" You answered.
"I hope this dance will remind you of us, forever. Whenever you dance... I hope you'll think of me and promise me you'll be happy, okay?" He burried his head on your neck again.
"Oh Jaehyun, quit being a baby, I'll think of you in every minute, every hour of everyday." You smiled broadly.
Jaehyun made you face the sea and he started to hug your back again like he's going to miss you forever.
"Love, look at the sun." He pointed.
"I'm looking at it." You replied
"Imagine that I am the sun, and you are the sea." His voice became weaker. "No matter how hard it is for us to be together, just think of it that our hearts are destined for each other no matter what."
"Hey, I'm not in the mood for crying." You joked. Honestly, your tears are piling up at the corner of your eyes, but you refuse to let those tears fall.
"Just remember those things that I said, okay?" He said. "Close your eyes." You followed his command. "At the count of three... don't do anything. Just stand still."
"Okay, Love." You replied.
"One..." he started counting. "I will always be here for you baby."
"I know." You said.
"Two..." Jaehyun continued. "I love you so much, (y/n)."
"I love you too, Jaehyun." You started crying when he let go of his arms around your waist. "Promise me, forever."
"Three." Jaehyun sighed for the last time. "No more of us letting go."
The wind blew softly around the seashore. You looked at the sea while the sun disappeared. It was completely dark. You looked around and see no sign of Jaehyun, but in your hand there was this small note that was folded.
Love, Happy 3rd Anniversary. Continue to be happy, make many babies as you can, conquer the world and fight for your dreams. I may not be the man who is going to be with you there physically, but I swear to God that I will be in your heart forever.
