"Well what's your favorite color?" I asked
Look I was bored it was a long drive to where we where meeting up with this country army men. We where gonna ride by ourselves just in case. Well it had weapons so if we tried escaping we would be shot down. Anyways I was bored and the guy guarding me was real chill.
"Umm Teal" He responded
"That colts nice but I like (F/C) (or just say a diffrent color if it's teal)"
"I like that color a little" he chuckled
"Well what's your fav-" just then the cars stopped
The guy did a random pattern of knocks before the door was open. I was in my own truck so I couldn't talk to the army about plans.
"Hurry up stand up!" A diffrent guy commanded hitting me with the barrel of his gun
I groaned since it hurt and stood up following the people. We where in a field with an airplane and some kind of robots.
"We will be your pilots and guards on the ride to your new home!" They said cheerfully.
I smiled maybe this trip won't be this bad.
"Open your wings" a guy said
I sighed and let my wings open. They tied it for some reason like I can't untie a rope and lead me to the plane. Inside was a lot of food and water. I smirked It wasn't gonna be bad at all. Then I was gonna take a seat until I saw someone that I thought I would never see.
Night Owl's POV
I stood on a building kicking cans cursing. I slouched against a wall. Why is she gone?
"Well looks like someone is down in the dumps!" A laugh echoed behind me
I turned to see Laughter unarmed. He put his hands up as I growled and pointed a gun at him.
"Woah I come in peace but I bring bad news about the plane she's on!" Laughter laughed
My eyes widened
"What!" I hissed
"There piloted by robots made by me!" He laughed
My arms went down as I though about what he said.
"And your going to-"
"MAKE THEM EXPLODE!!" He laughed
I stood there shocked
"I know your weakness Night Owl!" He smiled evilly
"No you can't!" I cried
"It's to late she's on the plane right now every single one" Laughter laughed
"You bastard!" I yelled
I shot a bullet but he quickly dodged it and he ran off laughing. Tears fell down my face. Now she was gone forever I couldn't do anything. Then Del ran over.
"Evan you ok I saw you shot at something!" He panted
Just then I blurted out everything that Laughter told me. He stared at me wide eyed.
"Her house Lavender she has an earpiece that connects to Lavender" he blurted out
"Let's go hurry!" I told him
Your POV
"Storm?!" I said seeing the guy who was terrified of me probably .
"Oh hey" he chuckled trying to wave at me put he has handcuffs on.
Oh yeah I forgot to tell you are handcuffs are on the front of us not in the back of us. The rest of my army roared and sat down. I sat across from Storm
"Well where all going to die" he chuckled looking out the window
"Wait what do you mean" I asked eating a chocolate
"Those robots" he said gesturing to them "they go kaboom"
"What!" I shouted
"Laughter traded me in as his regular self but they had to test out the robots on something so why not this!" He explained
"What who turns there side kick in to just kill him!" I hissed
"Well if we survive can you help me killing him" he said looking at me
"Fine I will" I said "I always wanted a cool sidekick anyways"
We both chuckled and just chatted about life since this was are last hour or so.
"Ms.(Name) Night Owl and Batcoon are here to talk to you" Lavender said
My eyes widened
"Shadow the robots they-"
"I know explode" I said
"You need to get out of there" Evan said
I sighed
"Look Evan I can't live there right I'm dangerous anyways if I survive I got a plan" I said
"Please you need to get out" he said then I heard him crying along with Batcoon
"Guys I'm sorry and I love you but bye." I said grabbing my earpiece and throwing it to the floor and stepping on it.
"Well that's a movie worthy moment" Storm mumbled
"Yeah" I said
I felt a lump in my throat as I looked out the window they where streaming it on T.V. The plane started moving and started launching off. I looked down as some robots started beeping. I looked at my army that understood what was happening. I looked down
"I'll see you soon Father" i said
Night Owl POV
I watched as everything exploded. Her, her army everything. The army men started freaking out and some running. The general shouted as the camera man turned the camera off. I slouched against the wall and burried my face in my hands. I cried. I literally cried. Nothing could make this worse. But I was wrong. I heard Del shout but quickly ended. I swiftly grabbed my gun.
"Night Owl. Ugh I feel real bad" I turned around and instantly got my gun kicked out of my hand.
It was Laughter.
"YOU BATSTARD!" I yelled
He laughed. Many of his men broke through the windows. I tried fighting them but I was outnumbered. Someone pinned me to the wall. Laughter of course. He laughed and threw me to the ground.
"Night Night! Owl Boy!" He laughed before darkness filled my vision
