(Edited chapter)
"Guys, come on, I need to get home," I whine.
"Come on! Let us get some ice cream before we have to go," Connie says. I sigh.
"Let me text my mom," I say and pull out my phone.
"We're going to get some ice cream before I head home because Connie and Sasha said they were buying, so I don't know if I'll be home exactly before nine. I'm sorry!" I text.
"It's alright. As long as your safe and are ok, you can stay out for another hour." My mom texts back.
"Ok. Thank you." I text. I get no response back after that and put my phone back in my pocket. I sigh deeply and nod at my friends. Sasha the grabs Connies hand and runs down the street.
"Why am I friends with these people," I question myself.
"Because we're awesome!" I hear Sasha yell. I then start to run after them. I shake my head as I go.

"Two scoops of cookies-and-cream in a cup. Make sure there's two spoons," Sasha says to the ice cream guy at the register.
I then go up and order, "One scoop, cotton candy." He nods and Connie pays the man. One of his coworkers gets the ice cream and hands us ours.
"Thank you," I say and grab mine.
"Let's walk past that dance club and check it out," Connie says.
"Fine," I sigh. We then walk down the, now calm, street and I see the dance place. Connie and Sasha look at the large window. I stand a little further away and read the window.
We'll bring you to nationals.
Any kind of dance is taught.
From fast to slow.
"Whoa! Theirs people in there!" Connie says and presses his face to the glass. I look through the glass and one guy catches my eye. He has gold-green eyes with brown hair and a few tattoos and a set of snake bites. He's dancing with another girl. She has long brown hair that is put back into a loose pig tail. They look like they're enjoying what they're doing. Dancing is a kind of art, so this is pretty nice to watch.
"Ok, we can get going now," I hear Connie say. I finish my ice cream quickly and throw it away in the trashcan on the side of the road. I follow after Connie and Sasha back to Sasha's car.
I might come and check out that new dance place again tomorrow after school.

The next day rolls around and I'm in my last period of school; gym. I take a deep breath as I stop running. I pant as I jog for my water. I take a big swig of it and set it down.
"Class ends in fifteen minutes. Do another round of push-ups then go to the showers," The gym teacher, Coach Erwin, says. I try my best to do another around of push up, but quit after three and just skip the rest. I then make my way to the showers and I only wash my face and hair of sweat. I change into my normal uniform clothes and keep a towel around my shoulders. I grab my stuff and head out of the locker rooms. I then go to the bleachers in the gym and wait for the bell to ring.
The bell rings and I stand up and make my way back to homeroom for the end of the day.
I walk in Mrs. Zoë's room and take my seat in the front with all my stuff.
"Bus riders are going first today, then walkers and car riders!" Mrs. Zoë says to the class. I sigh and the buss riders are called. I wait another five minutes and the walkers are called to leave. I grab my stuff and run out of the room. I'd usually take the bus, but I wanted to check out that dance place before I got home, and when I take the bus it usually takes an hour to get home, so I have an hour to get to the dance place then back home.
I rundown the street with my backpack on, a gym bag in hand, and a laptop case in my hand. I then see downtown ahead and it's less then a mile away. I keep running and make my way through the crowd.
I look at my watch on my wrist, 3:34. I've got to hurry if I want to look around in there.
I find the dance place and look at the name of the place, Dancing Titans.
This is going to be interesting.

(A/N: Chapter two should be out later today or tomorrow, hopefully. Hope you enjoyed because I just got done writing this at 2:45 in the morning.
