I walk into the school gates and immediately sigh.
I go through the double doors and find my locker and get my books.
As I close the locker door this boy is standing beside me.
He's kinda cute but why would he talk to me?
"Hi, I'm Noah" he says with a smile
"I'm Beth" I say trying to keep it cool
" um, would you like to grab lunch later or something? Maybe Costa , The canteen food here is gross"
I stand still for a couple seconds. Like omg what just happened!?
"Uh..yeah sure, Costa it is then"
"School gates at 1?" He says
"Sounds good, see you then" I say mumbling a bit
"Bye" he says as he turns away and walks into a classroom
Oh my gosh, I have a date! Well a lunch date or something I don't know.
But still oh my I can't believe it!
I walk into my English class and take a seat at the back. I open my notebook and jot down some boring notes. I'm half asleep in the first 10 minutes.
All I can hear is the teacher babbling on and on. will this class ever end?
