Next day, I wake up around 11. My back hurt like hell from sleeping on the rock hard ground. Heh, see what I did. Course it's rock hard, it is rock. I say to myself in my head and curse myself for it. Vincent was already awake, or maybe he never went to bed. Either way he was still sitting in front of Lucrecia.
At around 1, we leave but not to home. We figured we should get more information and since Vincent said she worked in Nibelheim with Hojo, so we decided we'd start there in the manor but we'll have to go underground, through the Nibelhiem sewers. We don't know what or who could be lurking around there and we definitely don't want run into any of the Tsviets.
While we were in there, we fought some turtle-like-man beasts that spit acid at you. It was pretty gross. We finally made it to the basement of the building after climbing a ladder and going through corridors. We fought a couple of Deepground guards, then we went into the elevator and went up to the main floor.
We got to the top and went through the first door that was to the right, in front of us. We go through and we find a big room with book shelves all lining the wall and a desk on the right side of the door.
We take a couple of steps inside, armed and stop when we both see and hear a ball roll towards Vincent. It stops at his feet and bends over, picking it up. I notice it's a green materia and then it flashes brightly. We look at it then we both hear someone behind us so we turn around. We look up and I notice it's Lucrecia. She's wearing a white lab coat, a light blue shirt underneath and a darker blue skirt that is longer on the left then right. Her hair is up and she is in a pair of blue high heels. I can tell Vincent is shocked.
"Lucrecia..." he says.
"Vincent, right?" she says gently then exhales. Some what looks like she's in pain. "Have you come to check up on me?"
She walks toward him. He opens his arms, ready to hug her but she goes right through him. I realize she's a hologram.
"Omega. His awakening is upon us. Soul wrought of terra corrupt, quelling impurity, purging the stream to beckon forth an Ultimate fate. Behold mighty Chaos, Omega's squire to the lofty heavens. I came across this passage while studying the scriptures of the Ancients. The Chronicles of Yore. Omega. The end. Just as all other sentient beings, he too, is born of the Lifestream. However, his only purpose is to cleanse the planet of all things living and lead their immortal souls through the abyssal aether to a new beginning far, far beyond the never ending sea of stars. Just as life circulates through our planet, so too does our planet through the universe. Or at least in theory. However, what I can be certain of is, if Omega awakens, then all life as we know it will end. And when Omega has embarked on his journey to the cosmos, our planet will wither and die. I will leave a copy of my records here for you, Vincent. Though I cannot imagine what help they might be, if any at all. Just remember... I am so sorry." Lucrecia says then disappears.
Vincent stands there while the materia disappears and shatters in his hand, then takes a step.
"Lucrecia." He says again, holding out his arms.
He stands there for a second then looks over to the desk. I look over and I see a red card on the desk. Vincent goes over and picks it up, and puts it in his back pocket. We then look at one another.
"Let's go find the rest of the reports." He says.
I nod and we head off, deeper into the manor.
We go through the whole manor. We fight some Deepground guards, blow up some mines and also find about 3 reports. After going through the dirt chamber, we go up a flight of stairs that go around the chamber. When we're up, we find another part of the manor but it's a disaster. I mean it's all broken down and rubble is everywhere. Also looks more of a manor in these parts then the others.
We look around the area, through other rooms, and find 2 more reports. We enter a cemented area and I feel like I'm in a white jail cell or a room that you can't really escape from. It has a lower and a higher part. We entered on the higher grated part that has stuff around us.
As soon as we walk in, Vincent stops and falls onto one knee, grunting in pain.
"Vincent!" I say, going over and kneeling down. I put my hand on his arm. "Are you alright?"
"This pain." he says.
All of sudden, someone appears in front of us. I'm guessing its Rosso the Crimson, Vincent told me about her, that she is one of the Tsviets.
The only things that aren't covered is the sides of her ass and her belly. She has red eyes and hair. Guess that is why she is called Crimson, hair and eyes are red like blood. I also noticed she is wearing a lot of metal, her outfit consists of mostly that. She stands there in front of us, looking down.
"Well, well. We meet again. This is perfect. I so wanted to see you, my love." Rosso says in an accent.
Both Vincent and I stand up. Vincent slightly steps in front of me, shielding me from her. I guess because she is that dangerous or cause I've never really met her and he doesn't know what she could do to me.
"Deepground. What are they attempting to do with Omega?" Vincent asks, in a harsh tone.
"I don't know. And to be honest, I don't care." Rosso says, sort of in a whining tone. Whenever she speaks, I tense up.
"What?" Vincent says.
"But this is what Weiss desires. Hail Weiss. And what Weiss orders, we do. It is very simple. If he desires the awakening of Omega, then that is what all of Deepground desires. We could care less what happens to the planet. But all this matters little to me. It is not every day you are granted the chance to cleanse the world of all life. Just the thought sends a chill of excitement through. my. body." She says, excited and pleased. "The Deepground soldiers were born and bred to kill. We were chained to a destiny of servitude. But then three years ago, we were freed from our chains - though waiting for us was darkness lit only by the faint glow of mako. And do you think we did when we gained our freedom? We killed. That is how we were raised. That is all we knew. And so I bathed in the blood of a thousand soldiers. And I enjoyed it... I reveled in it. And when I finally stepped out of the abyss. I craved for more. You understand, right?"
"I don't think so." Vincent says, raising his gun at her.
"How can you say that, darling? We're one and the same." Rosso says, walking backwards and jumping away.
We chase after her, but before we can get anywhere, one of their black widow robots run in front of us and ejects some bombs then runs away as well. We run after it. We end up running back into the main lobby of the area. We look around, then behind us. There on the balcony, right on top of the door we just came out of, is the widow. It turns towards us, then jumps down and lands with a thud, braking the floor in the process. Both of us pull out our weapons and prepare to fight.
When the widow went on the ceiling, Vincent shot at it then it would fall on its back and we both would attack it. I would more block the widows shooting then attack. Vincent more attacked. After about 10 minutes of fighting the robot and it going up on the ceiling and the walls, the widow breaks down dead, but before it dies it shoots. I don't act quick enough and 2 of the bullets hit me. One goes right past my right arm, taking skin and tissue with it, the second bullet goes through my shoulder. I fall to my knee, clutching my shoulder. I look up and see Vincent turned. I looks behind him and I see Rosso. I try to shout to tell him, but my voice gets caught in my throat. He turns and Rosso shoves her hand right in his chest then pulls it out, and I notice she has a sphere in her hand. I fall onto my back and turn my head. I'm guessing the sphere is the protomateria I've been hearing about.
Vincent is now on the ground on his stomach.
"I'm sorry. Were you not expecting that?" Rosso asks him.
I see Vincent turn and glow bright red. I realize, he turned into Chaos. Then he turns back again.
"Ah, so you cannot control the beast without this." She says then bends down, just above him. "Well, there will be no need for it when I'm done with you." She says.
I yell and then fall unconscious from the pain and blood loss.
