Our Unexpected Life 5

Chapter XX

After about another hour of fighting them, we finally finish and scout for any survivors that weren't finished off. Now the rest is up to Vincent on the inside, so it's all about the wait now. Waiting for something to happen.

After about an hour of waiting and a bit of fighting, we hear a weird sound and turn around then see something forming in the centre of Midgar. It looks massive. Things come down and make contact with the mako reactors and starts sucking the mako out, then it glows and takes on full form. We see that it's Omega. A few minutes after Omega is fully constructed, we then see Omega's head explode open with something red flying out and the head re-constructs back to normal.

"Holy Shit! Did you see that?" Anna shouts, pointing up.

"Woah!" Zack says.

The rest of us laugh and chuckle at their childish behavior. We look back up and see something red flying around Omega, guessing its Vincent knowing he's Chaos. He flies really fast around Omega then charges at him but gets knocked back by a barrier that seems to be surrounding Omega. We disperse since more soldiers arrived and start fighting. I fight alongside Tifa this time and Cloud heads out elsewhere.

I look up and try and see if I can find Vincent. I see he flies in place to where he got knocked back then flies around it till he's high above Omega. We see a light fly over Omega then it dives into him, disappearing for a second then Omega's chest glows a faint blue. Then the ground else where we hear break open causing a shake. We look towards Vincent and see a light speeding towards him then goes through him and he seems to glow from the chest. He flies in front of the moon for a minute. Then flies down and disappears somewhere.

Then he comes back but I lose sight of him again and start fighting. Just after a minute, Omega sends out a giant shock wave that hits everything and I now see Vincent getting hit. It hits the reactor and I see someone swinging down on it and notice its Cloud. We hooked up a sign in ratio that is amongst all of us to Reeve and the others. We ring in that we are done, then Cloud does and then I hear Tifa over it. Also see and hear other people finish with a few explosions going off, meaning we destroyed the reactors.

We finally finish and watch Vincent. We all look up and chant.

"Vincent!!"

He flies up and towards Omega, charging at him.

"Yeah!"

He charges the barrier but it doesn't give but he summon a bit more power and charges right on through inside Omega, disappearing inside.

Now it's all up to Vincent to finish this on the inside.

It doesn't take too long till something starts to happen. Omega starts glowing a blue that creeps its way up to his head then he goes all dark for a split second. Some purple looking lightning strikes across his chest then his wings glow a bright white and then expand into giant wings that extend all the way across Edge.

They lift high then low, causeing a giant gust of wind. We then see Omega start to assend and we get a little worried. We see Vincent fly above him, looking our way then stops above Omega then charges into Omega. A giant explosion occurs in the sky then we see the sky clear above. It glows and pieces of Omega start to float down, along with a bit of red, guessing it was also Vincent.

Vincent sacrificed himself to save the world. I put my hand to my chest and get a pained feeling, then I hear Anna gasp loudly. I see tears start form in her eyes, and some form in mine as well. I start to tear up then I feel Cloud's arm around me.

After we pull ourselves together, we all rendezvous at the bar and decide to search for Vincent.

We all are assigned to check around the Old Shinra building, and in the Slums. Cloud and I check around the Slums, which some others join us and some check up top.
