Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying the story so far! Please comment and critique! It means an awful lot to me (: Now enjoy this update!

With Adolf on my back, I rush back to the castle. I can feel his blood soaking through my shirt, but I don't care. I don't find it gross or anything, I only care that he IS bleeding and I want to make sure he's okay. He's one of my best friends on this planet and I will not have my friend bleed to death.

"Don't worry, Adolf. We're nearly there," I tell him. He moan as an answer.

I run past the village, passing everything in a blur. Up the hill, I make it to the castle. I pass through the wooden doors and start to yell, "Mother Goose!" in hope that she can hear me.

I find her in the kitchen, slicing some apples. I come to a halt in front of her, nearly falling by the sudden stop. Mother Goose glance up and shrieks at us.

"Princess Carol, what happened?" Mother Goose asks me.

"He was hunting a hippogriff and it scratched him pretty badly. Please help him."

Mother Goose nods and says, "place him on that empty table over there."

I carry Adolf to the table and set him down on it. He looks completely beat; he has a nasty bruise underneath his right eye, his color is drain by the lack of blood, and the scratches; they are already turning yellow.

Mother Goose waddles to Adolf and examine his wound, "My, my. That hippogriff gotten him good."

"I know," I agree, then add, "Which is why you need to fix him up."

Mother Goose bows to me, elegantly, "As you wish, Princess Carol."

"Excuse me, Mother Goose?" Mother Goose and I turn around to see who has called. It was the butler, Pinocchio. Pinocchio is an interesting creature indeed-- he used to be just a wooden doll, but a witch granted his wish and transformed him into a living boy. However, the old man who created Pinocchio, didn't like the fact that Pinocchio was a boy. He thought Pinocchio was an evil thing sent out to do bad deeds. When Pinocchio tried to explain to his creator that he is good, he wouldn't listen; he sent Pinocchio away. He has been a servant to my family for many years now.

"What is it, Pinocchio?" Mother Goose ask.

"A creature here has been sent out here to search for you. She says it's of great importance."

"What creature is she?" Mother Goose ask.

"Um, she says she's a fairy," Pinocchio answers.

"A fairy? There is no thing," I tell him.

"I know, but she promises up and down that the witches made her," Pinocchio replies.

Mother Goose and I exchange confuse look. Mother Goose turns to Pinocchio and says, "Bring her in."

Pinocchio nods to her and bows to me before leaving to retrieve the creature.

"Princess, were you aware that the witches were thinking of creating a new creature?" Mother Goose asks me.

I shake my head, "No, I wasn't. And neither was father."

"I wonder why they decided to create a new creature after so many years of being silent."

"I wonder about that, too. She must be of great importance."

Pinocchio returns to the kitchen, alone. I look past him, expecting to see some kind of strange creature but there is nothing behind him. I look back at Pinocchio and ask, "Well? Where is she?"
