Chapter 6

Once we were done with dad, class was over. Everyone was talking about the mini earthquake. Soul asked me if I could come over tonight.

"Sure." I said, trying to keep my cool. It was hard, knowing what he was going to ask me.

It was 5:00. Time to go to Soul's house. I grabbed my phone and started to walk out the door, when Kid stopped me.

"Why does Soul want you to come to his house?" He asked. 

I'm a horrible lier, so I was just going to tell him not everything but the gist of it. "I guess he wants me to talk to him about Gaea."

I think Kid started to catch on to what I was doing because he said this. "Why would Soul want you to go to his house? Me and Soul are better friends."

"I guess he wants to get to know me better." I said, not looking Kid in the eye.

Kid gave up and said "Whatever, but if you and Soul start dating I swear he's dead."

I giggled nervously and said "Kk bye!"

I got to Soul's house in 5 minutes. When I got there, I knocked on his door and he answered it. He pulled me into his house and into his room. He closed his door and got straight to the point. "Is Gaea the thing you couldn't talk about?" He asked. I nodded my head and he pulled me into a hug. "That must have been a big thing to keep secret."

I rolled my eyes and said "No shit." He laughed at the fact that I cursed.

Maybe I won't die. I thought.

Kid's P.O.V

I know something's up. Why would Soul ask for (Y/N) instead of me? They're probably dating behind my back. I went to ask Liz about what she thinks.

"Hey Liz?" I said.

"Yeah." She said in a bored tone.

"Do you know if (Y/N) and Soul are dating?" Liz seemed very interested now.

"No not that I know of. Why?" 

"Well... Soul asked (Y/N) to hang out with him and not me. Why would he do that?" Liz rolled her eyes.

"Probably because they have more in commen. You shouldn't worry." She said, like it was the most obviously thing on earth.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOUL HAS MORE IN COMMEN WITH (Y/N)!?" I asked angrily.

"Well they're more chill and laid back then you are." Liz started, but I yelled again.

"BUT GIRLS HAVE PERIODS!" 

Liz punched me in the face angrily and yelled "WELL EXUSE US GIRLS FOR NOT WANTING TO BE PREGNANT YET!"

I left the room with a bruise on my cheek. Lesson one in Liz 101; never talk to her about periods.

Liz's P.O.V

After I punched Kid for being a sexist piece of shit, I started thinking about what Kid said. Why would Soul want to hang out with (Y/N) over Kid? Maybe they do have a thing together. I'll have to ask (Y/N) when she comes home.
