Chapter 8

Your P.O.V

I now cannot do anything with Soul without Liz in the background acting like we're gonna make out. But that's not important because of the new mission we have.

"Ok guys, there's another person working with Gaea. She works best at night and she's planning on attacking tonight because it's a full moon. We have to make sure they don't get to Asura." Kid said. I started to get nervous. This person who's working with Gaea... she reminds me of... her. But it couldn't be. I'll be fine. Maka won't though.

"Tonight? Seriously?" Maka asked, obviously scared out of her mind. 

Kid turned to her with a sympathetic look in his eye. I swear those 2 are dating. "It'll be ok." Kid said.

But I think we all knew that was bull shit.

"Do I really have to do this?" I asked Kid with a whiny voice.

"Yes (Y/N)." Kid replied.

"But this really sounds like it's between Maka and Asura. Are you sure we have to interfere?" I asked.

"Yes we do, (Y/N). Now shut up we're getting instructions." Kid said

Sid started talking. "Ok, you guys. Get down there and prevent Asura from reserecting. Do whatever you have to do. Kill them for all I care."

And with that, we went below the school.

I was pretty silent. I had an idea of who this person is, and I didn't like it. Soul noticed I was being eerily quite. "Oi. (Y/N). You alright?" He asked. I nodded my head. Soul get the message I didn't want to talk about it.

Once we finally got down the stairs, a knife flew towards me, barely missing me.

"What the-" Kid started, but someone from the shadows started to talk.

"(Y/N)! Is this your brother? Or should I say, my son?" That voice, it had to be her.

"(Y/N), what is she talking about?" Kid asked. But I couldn't talk. I was too scared. She was going to kill me like she killed dad.

"(F/N), kinda need you right now." I said.

"K." She said as she turned into a (Y/W = your weapon).

"Aw, that's sad. All that training was for nothing." She said. Oh god the training. All the hard, stupid work she put me through just so I could be just like mommy. Instead of being afraid, I started to get angry. She killed dad. She killed that innocent girl. She killed Ty. She made me train so I could use magic that has no use to me.  My whole life has been one misery after another because she was upset that she couldn't find a decent man. She plagued every guy I dated. Instead of shaking of fear, I shook of anger.

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" I yelled. She seemed really confused, but I attacked. I hit her in the arm "That's for killing dad!" Hit her in the leg. "That's for killing that innocent girl who had no clue what dad was doing!" Hit her in the other arm. "That's for killing Ty!" Hit her in the stomach. "That's for making me train for something as stupid as magic!" Hit her in the head. "That's for cursing every guy I've ever dated!" Finally, I hit her in the heart. "That's for making my life as miserable as possible!"

After I was done with that, she fell to her knees and fell to the ground. "I can't believe that you are stronger than me. I-I never thought you would  be better than me. Just know, Death is the only guy who won't fuck you over." 

"Not every guy does. I would know that if you didn't curse every guy." I said. I then stabbed her in the back, and this time, she died. I was panting. I was tired. But I was happy. All the pain, all the suffering she made me go through. It's finally over.

"(Y/N), w-who was that?" Kid asked.

"As much as I don't want to say it, it was our mom." I said.

"So you just killed our mom?!" Kid asked angrily.

"Well you would too if she put you through as much pain as she did to me!" I said back angrily. "Now shut up, we have a witch to kill!"
