"Mommy why are we here?" My 4 year old daughter asked. "This my friend Michael he died when he really shouldn't have." I touched his gravestone and set down my flowers. "Can you go to daddy in the the car?" My daughter nods and runs to my car.

"Hi Michael. It's been a long time since we talked," I sat down in front of the grave as I'd were really having a conversation.  "I lived my life for you like I said I would. I got some help and later on went to college where I met my husband. We didn't date for long until I fell in one with him and we decided to elope. I ended up pregnant a couple years after college and now here we are 5 years later an I have a beautiful daughter."

I could see the tears blurring my vision so I closed my eyes and felt them go down my face. "I keep your bracelet with me at all times. I think I should give it back now. It's holding me back from being happy with my family but know I will always love you. And remember someday we will be together but just not today."

I put the bracelet on the gravestone and wiped up the last of my tears before I made my way to my husband and daughter. My daughter came running out of the car and into my arms. "I love you momma." "I love you more baby." I said while nuzzling my nose against hers.

I love you too Michael I looked up at the sky knowing he will always be there.

The end.
