the army awaited outside just as before but this time with less soldiers and amura who were going on with the king's plan and hiding in the forrest ready to ambush again the the clouds loomed over and the sound of thousands of footsteps sounded from behind the horizon and soon they appeared again this time they were not as suprising as before the larger ones were at the front leading the army forward knowing there suprise would not work a second time they soon came to halt they had drums and the soldier clattered there weapons together trying to make as much noise as they could to make sure they knew they were there and there was many. Kane looked to zalarian who in turn looked back at him "ok they wanna make noise lets make noise to" zalarian shouted, as he did soulders banged weapon against shields and drummed hard to match the noise level of the creatures soon they came to a halt and the leader out in front raised his arm lowering it down quickly to signal to attack as he did the creatures ran forward. Kane and zalarian watched on and quickly responded by signaling there soldiers to attack just as before they ran towards each other hitting together with force making the ground shiver from it kane quickly cut his way through with the same speed he showed in the last battle taking out 20 creatures before coming to a stop zalarian watched on again amazed by the speed he had never seen in the time he had known kane.
kane looked back at zalarian he grinned "whats the matter you scared?" zalarian looked at him smiling at what kane said "you should be the one whose scared" he replied pointing over at him to signal something was behind him, kane quickly turned raising his shield as one of the creatures came down with its sword arm connecting with his shield kane pushed it to one side and cut the creatures head off. the fight raged on and soon the soldiers in the forrest made there move they charged out leaded by amura they smashed into the side of the army cutting into the creatures but before long more and more came from over the horizon kane was astonished "how can there be so many" he clenched his jaw together with anger "this can't be" he tensed up his muscle "they just keep on comming at this rate we will all be dead....I can't take this anymore" suddenly a red outline appeared arround the pentacle on his shoulder it glowed and soon a dark red aura began to make its way around his body one of the creatures ready to fight him stopped taking a step back unsure of what was going on it looked at him as the aura grew around him his head down "what is this.." kane said, the creature looked at him it was unsure why or what he was asking. A mage behind it looked at kane, it seemed to know what was going out it let out a call that echoed out in a second all the creatures turned and started running away "this power flowing inside me" he looked at his palm seeing the aura around it. The creatures ran with quick pace "its nothing I have ever felt before" one looked back at him as he raised his head it looked in his eyes to see his pupils changed they were now in the same shape as the mark on his shoulder black pentacles with a red outline had replaced his pupils he raised his hand "be gone!" he shouted out as a huge wave of energy flew forward towards the creatures it was fast and the power of it was so great that as it went past each and every creature it turned them to dust the men stood there in shock they had never seen such power but shock soon changed to joy as they raised there swords and cheered with victory.
zalarian looked over at kane he had never seen anything like that from kane it was not suprising but scary he had know kane for ages yet he had never shown any sign of a power like that he watched the red arua which still surrounded kane's body amura joined next to zalarian "its great we won they won't be hastling us for a while now..." she looked at zalarian "what is it" she looked in the direction his eyes were pointing seeing kane "what the hell?" kane stood he could feel the power around him unlike anything he had ever felt it started to consume him he breathed heavily and then clenched his head falling to his knees he shouted out in pain then froze before falling down to the floor zalarians eyes changed from the fixed eyes he had to consurened eyes seeing his friend fall he ran over to him "kane" amura rushed along side zalarian they knelt down beside him shaking and calling his name to see if he would respond they checked his pulse it was beating fine they looked on "he passed out" amura said "we better take him back in quick" zalarian nodded as he picked up his unconcious friend
