“Hey! These are for you.” he gives his best friend a daisy. “Look, I know you told me to wait for five years but at least let me show you how much I really love you.”
She smiles at him and hugs him, “Thank you,”

“Do you have anything to do tonight?” he asks.
The girl shakes her head, “Nothing much. Probably just gonna' do some extra notes for biology.” she said before muttering something else under her breath. “Biology is such a pain in the ass.”
The boy laughs but silently agrees. “So, can we go out tonight? It doesn't have to be a date. We can just go as friends. I just really want to take you out. But if you don't want to, it's fi-”
His best friend laughs and stops him from rambling, “I'll go with you.”
