Day 41
He knocks on her door after hiding his surprise behind his back. She opens her front door and smiles when she sees her best friend in front of her.
“I have a surprise for you.” he said, smiling.
She looks shock and confused, “What is it? Please tell me you're not leaving anymore.” she hopes.
He sighs and shook his head, “I sure wish that was true. But no, that's not my surprise.”
She sighs as well and shrugs, “Well, what is it?”
He waves the paper in front of her face and waits for her to react.
Her eyes lights up while she screams, “Holy shit! You got tickets to Greece? What the hell? How'd you get them? When? How?” she asks all in one breath.
He laughs at her before replying, “Relax Lish. You don't have to know how I got everything. Just keep in mind that we're leaving for the airport tonight.”
“What?” she screeches, “I have to start packing! Oh my God! Why didn't you tell me sooner?”
“Jesus Christ, it's just for two weeks. It's not like you're going to pack your whole wardrobe.” he mutters.
“Go home! I'm going to start packing. You should too!” she says, ignoring what he said.
He laughs but nods, “See you later, Lish! Remember, we're only there for two weeks. Don't pack your whole wardrobe.”
“Fuck you!”

Day 42
“Oh my God! I can't believe we're on the way to Greece!” the girl said, her tone laced with excitement.
The boy chuckles and tells her, “Babe, relax. I don't want anything happening to you before we land in Greece.”
She looks at him weirdly and asks, “Did you just call me ‘babe’?” her eyebrows raises as her best friend's eyes widen.
“N-no, I'm sorry. It just slipped, I didn't mea-” he stutters. The girl beside him laughs and tells him, “It's fine.”
He sighs in relief and looks out the window.
“It's beautiful isn't it?” she asks when she notices him looking out the window in awe.
“Yeah. Yeah, it is.” he said, turning to look at her in the eyes.
