A/N: I couldn't think of a good name sorry. I hope you like it though.
You were on the door step to Bobby Singer's home contemplating if this was the right house. You slowly walked to the door knocking on it twice before hearing movement from inside the house. You felt your anxiety start to rise as you saw the door knob start to move and the door being pulled open.
" Can I help you?" A man spoke as he gave you a questioning glance. He was an older man wearing a old baseball cap, a dark grey flannel with a black shirt under neath, and a pair of blue jeans.
" Um are you Bobby Singer?" You asked trying not to make eye contact with the man.
" Yes." He stood there trying to figure who exactly you were. You fumbled through your pockets looking for a letter you were supposed to give to him. A faint blush appeared on you cheeks as you handed him the letter.
" I was told to give you this." You stated faintly as he looked back at you deciding to let you in the house. You were hesitant at first but made your way into the living room taking a seat. Bobby took a seat across from you before starting to read the letter. You watched as he shifted awkwardly in the seat as he read the letter which made you curious as to why your mother made you deliver the letter and bring your stuff with you as well. You took your eyes away from the man and started to look around the room seeing stacks of books and a few guns laying around.
" Balls." You heard Bobby curse as he look at you with a pained expression. " How old are you (y/n)?" He asked in a lighter tone trying to sound friendly.
" I'm twelve. Um Bobby why did my mom send me here?" You asked in a light tone curious to see what had happened.
" Well I'm sorry to tell you this but your mom was dying and she didn't want you to see her in that state. So you'll be staying with me from now on. It just so happens that she placed me as your godfather." He sighed as he stood up walking closer to you seeing the tears rolling down your cheeks. He gave you a hug as you cried into his shirt.
" Did the dogs get her the ones that the man with black eyes sent?" You sobbed. He just stood there in disbelief at what he just heard.
" How do you know that?" He looked at you with a concerned look look on his face.
" I saw them around the house when she sent me here." You explained as the tears slowly came to a stop. You looked at him through puffy eyes. He nodded at you before having you take a seat again.
" Well did she tell you anything?" He asked.
" She told me that dad used to hunt with you before he passed away." You were drying your face at this point. Bobby let out a sigh as he held a hand out to you.
" Yeah me and your dad used to hunt together. He was an amazing hunter and friend." Bobby let his mind wonder before speaking up. " Let me show you to your room." You took his hand as he led you up stairs to what would be your new room. It was small but comfortable size room. It had red walls (like a majority of the house), a dresser, night stand, and a closet. You placed your duffel bag onto your new bed and gave a small smile to bobby. He smiled back before leaving the room to allow you to get situated. You started by placing your clothes in either the dresser or the closet depending on the type of fabric. Then you started placing other personal belongings in the exact spot you wanted them. You had to admit the one good thing about being raised by your mom was that she taught you tricks that they teach you in the military. You sighed as you started to fix your bed properly and setting your alarm clock to wake you at 5 am. You looked around the room and you were satisfied with the way your room was assembled. You then turned around and started to head down stairs when you heard a knock on the door. You were hesitant at first but you slowly opened the door before you called to Bobby. He came from the kitchen to see why you called and you motioned to the door.
" Who is it?" He asked as you backed away to let him see. There were three men standing before you and Bobby. Two kids about the same age as you and what you assumed was their father.
" Bobby can you look after the boys for a couple of days." The man asked as he looked at you with a cautious glance.
" Of course John." Bobby said as he let the two boys into the house. The boys walked in looking at you before the younger brother spoke.
" Hi I'm Sam Winchester and that's Dean." Sam gave you a smile while Dean seemed to ignore you.
" I'm (y/n) (l/n)." You stated giving Sam a smile. Dean looked over at you and seemed to be observing you. After a few moment you walk into the living room and started looking through the books. Sam walked towards you and started to talk to you about different topics. Dean however watched from a distance before leaving the room.
" Does your brother not like me?" You asked Sam quietly.
" He just doesn't know you. Don't worry he will come around." Sam assured you. After a few hours it was time for dinner and you were still very curious about Dean. You sat down at the table where there were boxes of pizza laying on the table. You and Dean were the first to reach the table. You couldn't help but look over at Dean admiring his unique green eyes. A light blush rose to your cheeks as you feel his eyes staring at you. You quickly grabbed a few slices of pizza and ran up to your room. ' What was that (y/n)? Don't just stare at people.' You scolded yourself before taking a bite out of your pizza. You heard a knock on your door before it opened to reveal Dean was standing in your door way.
" Hey, (y/n) right? Mind if I join you?" Dean asked politely before walking into your room and sitting right next to you. You could feel your heart skip a beat as he sat down.
" I don't mind. Um so what you want to talk about?" You asked nervously.
" Anything really." He sighed smiling at you.You talked for hours from then on each time He and Sam were at Bobby's but lost contact with them after about three years.
It's been ten years since you last saw Sam and Dean and you couldn't help but think about them from time to time especially Dean. He was always trying to teach you new things or trying to make you smile when you were kids. You smiled at the memories you had with the boys before focusing at the task at hand. Bobby had sent you on a hunt in Michigan five campers went missing in the span of two days. You had a feeling it was a possible wendigo attack. You let out a heavy sigh as you prepare to leave the motel room. You were wearing jeans, combat boots, a red flannel, and a (f/c) beanie. You glanced across the room making sure you have all of your gear ready for this hunt. Bobby sent you on this particular hunt because your eyes can pick up on things that normal people have a hard time seeing. He knew that you were more then capable to take care of yourself and that it wasn't your first wendigo hunt. You hummed softly as you exited the motel room making sure you locked the door behind you. You turn around to face your black and green '67 mustang. You walked around to the trunk of your mustang and placed your gear inside the trunk. You smiled as you got in the drivers seat hearing your baby purr. The drive to a local camping ground wasn't as bad as you expected besides the fact that you were jamming out to your favorite bands.
" This shouldn't take long." You stated as you parked your baby in the camp ground parking lot. You got out of your car taking in a deep breath as you grabbed your gear and started to walk to the ranger station for a map of the area. As you got closer to the station you recognized a familiar impala with Kansas license plate. You felt your heart start to race as you looked forward to seeing the boys once again. You entered the ranger station and quickly asked for a map from the receptionist.
" Come on Sam we are burning daylight." You knew that voice almost immediately. You turned around to see the two brothers backs were facing you. You walked slowly behind them running your hand through your short (h/c) hair. (You decided to cut your hair short after a hunt dealing with vampires.) After a while you got bored so you called out to the boys to get their attention.
" Dean, Sam how you guys been?" You shouted causing Sam to jump slightly. You giggled at them as they turn around to see who called their names.
" Do we know you?" Sam asked. When he said that pain shot through your body. Dean however looked at you for a few minutes before realizing who you were.
" (y/n)?! Well I be damn its been a long time." Dean said as he he moved closer to you to get a hug. You smiled at him taking in his embrace. You stuck your tongue out at Sam playfully.
" What are you doing here?" Sam asked confused but happy all the same.
" Bobby sent me here on a hunt. We believe we are dealing with a wendigo." You stated proudly. They both looked at you and smiled.
" Well at least we have you here to help. Man time done you well." Dean winked at you causing you to blush.
" To bad you stayed the same." You countered before taking the lead. The three of you walked through the woods reminiscing and discussing other hunts you took part in. The surrounding forest began to get dark as night quickly approaches. The three of you held flare guns or hand made flame throwers waiting for any signs of a wendigo was hunting you. Everything was quiet until a scream filled the night air causing you to jump slightly. Out of pure instinct you ran in the direction of that scream with the boys in tow. You moved closer to were the screams originated from when you felt something hit you in the back of the head knocking you unconscious.
" Damn it." Dean yelled as he saw your body being dragged away.
You woke up hanging by your arms from the ceiling of a cave. You could feel your head throbbing from where the creature hit you. You looked around to see four of the missing campers were string up like yourself. You moved your hands to see if you could free yourself with out cutting yourself down. After a few minutes of struggling you grip the rope that held you up and lifted your legs high enough for you to grab a knife from your boot. You took the knife and started cutting the rope as fast as you can before dropping to the ground with a thud.
You quickly look around for your gear only to find a couple rucks that contained one bottle of whiskey and a lighter. You smiled as you cut a part of your flannel off and made a makeshift molotov. Afterward you slowly crept behind a large stalagmite waiting for the creature to return. Minutes passed until you finally heard movement coming from the other side of the cavern. Feeling yourself getting nervous you quickly looked to see if the creature was there. You saw two figures move into the room you let out a sigh of relief as you step out from your hiding spot.
" (Y/n) are you alright?" Sam asked in a hushed tone. You gave him a small nod as he quickly hugged you the proceeded to cut the four campers down. Dean gripped you tightly to him as he made sure you were perfectly okay. A loud growl erupted through the cavern and you knew the wendigo has returned. You quickly light the end of your molotov and scanned the area until you came across its massive frame dashing towards you and Dean. With out hesitation you threw your molotov at the monsters feet lighting it on fire. Dean let out a sigh of relief before helping Sam take the four campers you followed behind them making sure nothing else was following you. As soon as we got back to the rangers station the sun was starting to rise.
" Thank you." The four victims told us repeatedly before we went back to our cars. You stood there patching yourself up taking care of a few cuts that were on your arms.
" Hey (y/n)." Dean called your name as he came closer looking at you softly. "Can I help you?" He asked as he watched you placing bandages on your arms to protect them from infection.
" Well you could buy me a drink." You smirked at him. He smiled at you before nodding in agreement. He quickly ran back to his impala getting in and driving past you as you started your car following him. He pulled into a local local liquor store buying a case of beer before getting back into the impala and driving back to the motel. You slowly pulled in parking right next to Dean as he got out of the car.
" I got your beer princess." Dean smiled as he grabbed the beer and walked towards you. Sam already entered his motel room allowing you and Dean some privacy. He looks at the bandages on your arm and frowns.
" It will heal." You said seeing the worry in his eyes. He stayed quiet as you took a bottle and started drinking it.
" You have to be more careful (y/n)." He stated in a stern tone.
" Thanks mom." You stated in a sarcastic tone. Dean glared at you before letting out a soft sigh. You smirked at him before kissing him softly. Dean was shocked at your sudden boldness then slowly kissed back. You pulled away and walked towards his motel room before calling to him. "We should go on more hunts together." You winked at Dean as he followed you into the room.
