SIMONS P.O.V

I watch Ann as she fluters her eyes in the mist of waking up. It was ten in the morning, I've been up for an hour, but I didn't dare wake Ann up. She came over at 2 in the morning for me how could I? At the sudden recollection of last night's events I smile. When I first woke up I thought it was all a dream until I saw my arms stilled wrapped around Ann's small torso. I cuddled her in and saw a smile appear on her face then it twisted..? I thought I saw a look of regret or maybe sadness, but before I could truly notice and ask about it it was gone and Ann had slipped her body around, staring into my eyes. I stare back whispering "I love you over and over." She looks back at me bewildered, so I start to tickle her and she giggles. "What's wrong?" I ask her when she still doesn't speak.

"Nothinng, I love you too," was all she responded. I was not in the least convinced, but I let it go for now. I swooped Ann over my shoulder and stalked up the steps to the bedroom. Ann laughed and laughed telling me to put her down, finally I threw her on the bed. "God I love you," I tell her.

We are both left on the bed panting while Ann breathes out, "I love you too."

After catching our breath I turn to her and ask, "so will you please tell me what's bothering you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You know exactly what I'm taking about. Come on Ann you can tell me."

"Okay fine. I'm in trouble."

"What do you mean, like financially? You know I can help with that."

"No, no its not that. It's just these people have been chasing me and I really can't stay I need to leave and you can't follow me and so I have to say goodbye to you." With this Ann has tears streaming down her face.

"What!? What are you taking about? Whose chasing you?"

"These people from my home town, they didn't like me all that much abused me and everything. I came her and got away, but Si they found me. I need to leave now. I love you so much Si but I have to go." She tells me as she leaves.

"Ann no d-" before I can finish Ann is out the door and almost to her car. Of course I'm going to follow her. I race down the steps, run to the first car in my garage, and start the engine. After five minutes I'm caught up with Ann and keeping my distance so she doesn't know. I trail her to an abandoned warehouse. That's odd I thought. She gets out of the car and walks through the doors. Oh no there's another car here, I've got to get Ann.

Ten minutes later:

The trigger got pulled and tears stream down her eyes as she sinks to her feet, covered in blood. Although "I'll never go home," was all Ann spoke with my arms wrapped around her while calling an ambulance, Ann stills within my embrace.
