My Little Raven: Dark Rebirth

The trio made there way threw the forest on their way to the home of Sasuke's old team. "Gah, I hate nature!" Akatsu growled while ripping a vine from his face. "How much longer!" Diana asked wistfully. Stopping by a large oak tree Sasuke knocked on the trunk, a small hatch opened up revealing a pathway. "In here." He said.
The pathway was dark and a little cramped. After a few feet the path opened up into a larger room, a large snake statue sat at the far end of the room. "Well it sure has been a while." Came a familiar voice. Jugo stood in the middle of the room with a large weapon in hand.

"What's the weapon for Jugo?" Sasuke asked a little weary. Looking down at the glowing trident in his hand he gives the raven haired man a soft smile. "I made this, it helps to control my lust for killing."
"Lust for killing? That sound healthy." Akatsu jokes.
"Who are you friends?" The Orange haired man asked. Glancing behind him he hesitated, why he hesitated he didn't quite know. "They aren't important. Where's Orochimaru?" He asked, at the mention of his name Jugo's smile fades. "He is in the leaf right now. Only Suigetsu and me are here....Why?"
"That's on a need to know basis." Akatsu spoke up. "And you don't need to know," Diana finished.
"So he's not here....shall we take over?" Akatsu asked. Before Sasuke could stop them Diana attacked Jugo blowing him backwards across the room.

"What do you think your doing!?" Sasuke yelled. Smiling Akatsu shrugged, "Our mission is to sever control of the sound and the village of Silence. If Orochimaru isn't here well then the sound is as good as ours!" Sasuke frowned.
"Gah! I Will kill you!" Came a loud roar. Stepping out of the dust, Jugo was covered with the curse mark. With a bright flash Diana activated her Goddess mode ready to fight off the man. Blasting his way forward Jugo came right at Diana. Clashing Diana spun Jugo around and smashed him into the ground. Akatsu jumped up in the air and made a few handsigns. "Explosion style: Airborn Phoenix!" A large fiery bird collided with Jugo causing the floor to implode. "Well that was fun." Akatsu said.

"Jugo!!" Standing a few feet away was Suigetsu. Grabbing his huge sword he ran forward, "Sasuke handle that please." Against his better wishes Sasuke activated his Susono and fired an arrow, narrowly dodging the silver haired man glared at his former teammate. "Sasuke...why?" Appearing beside him the raven haired man gave him a simple answer, "For my family." Driving his sword into Suigetsu's stomach he watched as the electricity from his blade turned Suigetsu into a puddle. Behind him Jugo let out a scream of pain, the sound took him back three years to when he was brought back.

-Flashback-

It was three years ago, the last thing Sasuke could remember was protecting his little girl then everything went black. "The jutsu was a success now we retreat for now." at the time the voices were nothing to him. He couldn't tell how much time had passed yet his body started to slowly regain feeling. Opening his eyes he found himself in a plain ran room. The door opened, right away Sasuke remembered the girl. "It's ok. I'm just bringing you some food." she said. Jumping out of the bed Sasuke rushes past her and down the hall, hearing noises coming from in front of him he turns and burst into a room in his right.

"Hello there Mr.Uchiha." An older man stood in the middle of the room. "Who...." he tired to ask yet his throat hurt. Chuckling the man picked up a green stone, "I'm no one but you....you've accomplished a lot when you were alive didn't you?" He asked. Sasuke didn't know what to think, or how to answer. "Now I need your help....you see taking over the leaf wasn't the kids best ideal but while I've been resting I've had plenty of time to dig through the old legends of this world and if you thought that big winded goddess was bad you haven't even seen it all." reaching out his hand he smiled, "So Sasuke Uchiha join me to find the emerald of Nyx and the Diamond of Erebus. With them this world will bow to us, and if you refuse to help well....then your wife and daughter will be dealt with." With that Sasuke knew he had no choice. "Where do we start?" Sasuke asked. The old man have a laugh, "First we take the sound village." after that it's taken three years for them to track down Nyx's emerald which is with Orochimaru.

-End Flashback-

"Hey Sasuke.....ready to go? It seems like we have no choice. We have to go to the leaf and find Orochimaru." Akatsu said.
"Or we could continue on to the village of Silence and find the Erebus diamond." Sasuke said.
"I have to agree with him." Diana says. Frowning Akatsu kicked the broken form of Jugo, "Ok ok. Fine let's go after the other stone." as they started to walk away Jugo reached out and grabbed Sasuke's ankle, "Why...." he groaned.
"Like I told Suigetsu. To protect my family." He knew that excuse wasn't the best and the only reason he hasn't destroyed Akatsu and Diana is thanks to the seal the old man put on him. If he attacks either of the three the seal with cut off his chakra and leave him wide open.
Walking off he was unaware of a certain red headed women watching from the shadows.

Sarada pov

My day was going great, my team has reached the semi-finals. Walking into my house I was surprised to find mom home,most of the time she would be at the hospital seeing to patients. "Hey why you home so early?" I asked, immediately I could tell something was off. "The hokage said that I should take the day off."
"Hmm cool." I took off my sword and headed toward my room when she spoke, "Sarada....something's happened." those words stopped me in my tracks. Facing her I feared what else she would say. "Naruto told me something that's a little shocking today....that your father is still alive." I was in complete shock,so much so that I dropped my sword. It was a lie,it has to be a lie. "He's giving us the mission of finding him. Shikamaru and I are heading out tomorrow and if you want you can..."
"I'm going." I Interrupted.

I had tons of questions, like why if he's still alive why hasn't he come back. "Also he's been seen with the same girl and guy who attacked three years ago." another shock.
"He has to have a reason.....he wouldn't just stay away because of those two. They must be stopping him somehow." I growled.
"I hope your right, our mission starts I'm the morning so maybe you should get some rest." Mom said before standing. I nodded but now I was so amped that I doubt I would be able to sleep at all. Whatever tomorrow held I would bring back my father.
