Sasuke pov

Never once did I think Akatsu would go full on crazy yet that's what I woke up to. A loud scream awoke me, the smoke from our fire was flowing up into the night sky. Diana looked at me then to the source of the commotion. Green chakra swirled around our comrade, he was doubled over clenching his head between his hands. "Baby!? What is it....What's wrong?" She said trying to talk over his screams.

In a quick movement I was barely able to follow he grabbed her around the throat and lifted her up into the air. "He isn't here right now, come back later!" 28th a grunt he sent her flying backwards threw a tree. His gaze fell on me, one eye was silver the other bright green. This man wasn't Akatsu. Charging toward me, I ducked then quickly made the right hand signs for fireball jutsu when Diana yelled from behind him, "Don't fight him!" he sneered, ignoring her and deciding to protect myself I let it loose.

"Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" A huge fire ball absorbed all the oxygen in the air causing me to launch it. It collided with him head on, the green chakra ripped threw it like was nothing. "I will crush you!" he growled. Jumping at extreme speed and heading right at me I activated my sharigan. Taking out my sword, the green chakra bounced off the blade with an audible clange. Spinning I kicked him yet it felt like I was kicking a stone wall. Smirking I could hear his "Heh" Charging at me a sphere of chakra spun to life in his hand.

All of this seemed to be a call back to a fight between Naruto and me. Charging my signature attack, my body was operating on instinct alone. Dodging, blocking,attacking it all came easy. A few instances He almost had me until I started getting serious. My left eye flared into the Sharinnigan, the Susono ribs erupted around me. It's skeletal arm rose up, from it a sword forged in black flames appeared. I could faintly hear Diana yelling but Akatsu held most of my attention. This was going to end one way or another.

Again he charged at me and this time I followed suite eager to either wound him enough to try to help him or end him. Swinging the sword, it collided with the ground causing it to crumble. Taking advantage he landed a solid hit cracking the susono ribs and sending me flying back onto the ground. "Hmph, not worth the trouble." He said fading. Diana tried to catch him but he was gone. "Akatsu!" She screamed. The Susono faded, my left eye turned back to regular sharigan. "What now?" she asked with a sad tone. Putting a hand on her shoulder I sighed, "I know someone who can help." wiping away the tears she looked up at me. "Who?"
"My wife." I answered.

Sakura pov

We reached the spot Karin had sensed Sasuke yet no one was here. "Karin anything?" I asked with a hurried tone, the hope I once felt was dwindling away. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath, "He left. The other two were with him, they were fighting someone strong....but the trail goes cold here." Just as I was about to give up to our left came a chuckle. "There you are, using the teleportation jutsu sure is faster then walking." They hid themselves in the shadows but the voice sounded so familiar. Sarada took a step forward, "You....why are you here?" She asked the person in the shadows.

Stepping forth they came into view, I recognized him instantly. The old man who stopped the two who attacked the leaf village. "The reason I am here is very simple dear girl. I'm here because she has something of mine." He pointed directly at me leaving me confused. "What could she possibly have that you want?" Karin grumbled.
"This." Extending his hand a small white piece of stone hovered just above his palm. "You cherry blossom hold within you the second piece of Kaguya's pearl. The first piece has already been removed from your hokage friend." Fear chilled my spine.

"What have you done to Naruto, trash!?" Shikamaru growled.
"All in due time, what you should be worried about is yourselves." His words took to long to process, in an instant he was in front of me. Drawing back his fist he went to punch me, throwing up my arms I readied to block but to my surprise Shikamaru stopped him. "Grr, shadow brat." The man growled. Sarada and Karin were at my side instantly.

"Explain what you did to the Hokage!" Shikamaru demanded. Shuddering the older man raised his hand to his mouth. "I hope your ready kids. The shows about to start." A loud crunch could be heard. I didn't realize until it was too late what he was doing. Chakra swirled around him fast, taking a step toward us he snapped Shikamaru's jutsu.

Ready to attack,the sheer force of his chakra was like gravity. I couldn't move, on either side I could hear both Sarada and Karin grunting as they tried to move. "It is time to...." His words caught in his throat, The chakra still flared around him yet he himself just stood there then gripped his stomach. "It....seems we....will have to...." A loud cough riddled threw his body, "We'll settle this another time." And with that he was gone. "What just happened?" Karin asked. Shaking my head I said what I observed, "I think that power he used was to much for his body to handle."

"He said the second piece of Kaguya's pearl is inside you. Wonder what he meant." Shikamaru asked while rubbing his chin. "We'll get to that later let's head back to the leaf village to check on The hokage." He said. Staring off at the trees I knew if I were to go back now that would result in maybe losing Sasuke forever. Sarada touched my shoulder causing me to face her, "Mom let's go. Dad will be ok we will find him but let's focus on our village." She said. I nodded gave one last look at the trees then followed the others back to the leaf.

Third person pov

Unsure of what was happening to him, the older man gripped his chest as he sat on a fallen tree. Eminence amounts of chakra still rushed threw his system thanks to the first piece of Kaguya's pearl. Off to his right came a growling sound or what he mistook as growling, Akatsu stood there in his completed changed form. "Ah, Akatsu I am glad to see you've given into the power. You'll make the best ultimate weapon." Tho unlike his original plan to kill Akatsu and the others once they acquired the other jewels, he knew this time he would have to go along with the boy.

Akatsu sneered at the older man. "Don't play coy with me old man, I can read your thoughts. Part of this new me, I feel invincible, stronger then ever before." A sudden change in the air alerted the older man to the hidden danger. "You looked more juiced up then normal, using Kaguya's pearl huh? The same three piece jewel we were supposed to retrieve for you?" Akatsu asked.
"Where exactly are the other two? Are they nearby perhaps?" He said trying to buy time to get his overflowing chakra under control.

Looking over his shoulder as if someone was behind him Akatsu shook his head. "Left them awhile back. I hear things now, actually I hear a little of everything and now I need Kaguya's pearl. Looks to me that would involve taking you out old man." taking a step closer Akatsu smiled. Taking a labored breath the older man stood, he figured it would come to this sooner or later. The boy who he thought as a son was now a grinning power hungry fool. "I'll take Kaguya's pearl from you by force if I must." Akatsu muttered.
"You'll have to, kid." The older man replied.

The battle was fierce and fast. Using his new overloaded chakra the older man put up a fight. Waves of wind and torrents of water ripped at the two ninja. Lading a few feet away from Akatsu the old man smiled, "You've gotten better brat but not good enough." With a flex of his left arm a fatal wound was dealt thanks to the elders wind chakra. It sliced right threw Akatsu's neck leaving him headless.

Letting out a sigh, he became aware of his age creeping up on him. His newly found chakra was depleted but recovering quickly that was until he went over to the boy's body to take the diamond and emerald. As he reached down Akatsu's hand sprang to life. Grabbing the elder by the wrist Akatsu rose, "Nice try old man, this ends here." Before the older of the two man could react Akatsu sent his hand threw his chest.

Standing then throwing down the body Akatsu gazed at the ragged stone in his hand. Holding it up so that the light reflected off it he let out a happy sigh, "It's smaller then I thought." Strained laughter came from behind him, "There's still two pieces brat. You've got a lot to learn." those as his last words Akatsu shook his head. Muttering to himself he knew only one person who could possibly have a piece of the pearl. "Uchiha."
