Chapter 12

Garroth POV

Ugh. It's Monday. I hate Mondays. As I dragged myself through the school hallways to get to my next class I saw Aphmau talking to some of the "popular" girls. Oh no. I really hope they're not making fun of her. Before I could go over there to make sure everything's okay Aphmau turns around and starts walking to me "Garroth some of those girls I was just talking to are having a party and they invited me!" She said smiling. Aphmau has never really been invited to the things I hate to say it but people consider her an outcast. I smiled at her "That's great Aphmau, so are you going" I asked. "If you'll come with me" she said still smiling, but this smile was different it didn't meet her eyes. It didn't take me long to notice this but I wasn't going to say anything I just told Aphmau of course I'll go with her and watched her walk down the hallways with a slight skip in her walk probably because shes excited about the party.

Aphmau POV

Some of the popular girls invited me to a party they're having this Friday, I have no idea why BUT STILL!!! I know I should be super exited that a loser like me got invited to a party I mean don't get me wrong I am excited but parties aren't really my thing. I'd be just as fine staying home reading or watching TV or something. That sounds totally lame but most of my few friends that actually have aren't gonna be there and something about blasting music really loud and jumping around in a room full of people you don't really know doesn't seem that exciting to me. I'm still gonna go and Garroth said he'll go with me, but I'm starting to think the only reason I was invited is because of Garrorh. Garroth isn't one of those stupid jocks but he's still really popular. I might just be overthinking things but what if they only invited me because I'm Garroth's girlfriend or maybe they're gonna embarrass me!!! Okay I just need to stop overthinking things, this party will be totally awesome!......Right?
