Chapter 3

Garroth POV

I walked into school with my two best friends. Laurence with brown hair and the blue haired one Dante. We've been friends since elementary school and we thought it would be fun to go to the same high school, but Dante decided to get all serious about his grades instead of goofing of with his friends. I wave to them as we go down separate hallways for our first classes. As I make my way towards health class probably the most boring of them all I see the group of boys who are mean to literally everyone. I see there surrounding someone so I stand on my toes to see who it is. It's a girl wearing jeans, a grey beanie, and a jacket. Wait.... That's the girl I ran into this mourning!!!! I drop my stuff and run over there I have to protect her! When I get to her and try to help one of the guys pushes me to the ground and tries to kick me but I grab his foot and yank it leading him to crash hard on his back. I stand up and push one of the other guys away from the girl then they all start walking away mumbling under there breath. I sit down on the floor and help the girl up to a sitting position. One side of her jacket it hanging of her shoulder and there's a large bruise there. I gently touch it with just my finger tips and she flinches. She has tears streaming down her face and choking trying to cry. I do the only thing I think of and take her in my arms and hug her, she hugs me back and start shaking with silent sobs. "You're okay now" I say gently. "Thank you so much" she chokes. I can't believe it the girl I have a crush on is thanking me!
