Chapter 5

On with dah story!!!

"You know, I've always wanted to be an astronaut..." Jason said, rubbing his light brown hair. We were talking in my room. "Then you can be an astronaut... AND MY NEW BUTTER GENERAL!!!" I shouted. He smiled while Ty frowned. "Hey. Why can't I be a general?" Ty whined. "Why can't you both be my generals?! Nobody said I can't have 2 generals!" I said. "Of what army?" Jason asked. "Oo! Oo! How about the Sky Army! You know, for Sky!" Ty suggested. "Not bad!" I said patting his head.

We stayed up late. Eventually, we got tired and went to bed. Soon, I was asleep.

I felt something on top of me. I groaned and pulled the covers off. I couldn't make out the figure in the dark. Sleepily, I turned on the lamp near my bed. The figure turned out to be an angry squid. "What the?!" I said, backing up quickly into the wall.

"We squids don't appreciate the law you made, Sky." it said. It lunged at me and I rolled away, falling out of bed in the process. It growled and jumped onto my head, biting into my skull. I screamed in pain and heard footsteps running to my room.

The door wouldn't open. Stupid squid. I can't believe it figured out how to lock doors. The squid's mouth opened for a bit, and closed when it fell a bit lower on my head. Now it was covering my eyes. I gasped when I realized it was eating me.

"Help!" I screamed. "A squid is trying to eat me!". "Oh, I'm not eating you." the squid stated, a bit muffled by my head. "I'm getting your head in my mouth so I can start sucking your energy. That's what derpy squids do." It explained. It came down lower and it was just above my nose. "Almost done." It said calmly.

There were more footsteps outside and someone was pounding at the door. By the time they broke it, the squid's mouth was just above my lip and blood was falling on my shoulders. I tryed to pull it off, but it bit me harder. I started crying. The pain was unbearable.

Suddenly it stopped. I thought I was dead for a second. Then I opened my eyes and saw the squid's dead body on the floor and a knight's bloody iron sword. "Th-thanks." I said as he helped me up.

My face was bloody and full of tooth marks. The knight took me to the hospital and my friends followed close behind.

That was the day I was traumatized by a squid.
