After a few bribes—yes, you read that right—Jungkook finally succeeded in making Sinb join SOPA's volleyball team.

"Ya, oppa! Don't forget, huh? You'll ask Suga oppa to help me with that project for our music class!" Sinb reminded Jungkook as she playfully nudged him on his side. Their music teacher asked them to write and make a song, nothing really official, but Sinb just really wanted to do well.

Their teacher told them the students themselves could sing the songs, or ask someone else to do it, and since Sinb's new friends—Jungkook's friends—were singers and musicians, it seemed, Sinb asked them if they could do it. And by them, that meant Jungkook and the rest of the guys.

Jungkook didn't really want to do it at first and Sinb let it go, accepting the fact that her vision wasn't going to see the light. But then, Jungkook kept on asking Sinb to go and join the volleyball team after overhearing Sinb's conversation with her former teammate, Yuna, over the phone. He heard how Sinb wanted to go and play for the championships this year. Knowing how Sinb loved the sport dearly, Jungkook did everything he could to convince her to try out. Sinb then found this opportunity to get Jungkook and the rest of the guys to sing for her. So after a lot of bickering, they finally arrived at a decision—they would do Sinb's song and Sinb would join the volleyball team.

"I haven't told the hyungs yet, though... And ya! I haven't even seen the lyrics! We won't sing a song with crappy lyrics, Hwang Sinb!" he threatened and Sinb feigned offense.

"Ya, Jeon Jungkook! Just because you've already written a few songs... Jimin oppa already saw the unfinished lyrics and he said they were good!" Sinb protested as the two of them walked to the school's gym for the volleyball tryouts.

"What's your song called then?" Jungkook asked.

"잡아줘 (Hold Me Tight)," Sinb answered. (A/N: I know our BTS members wrote this song. This is just fanfiction, so please don't think too deeply kkkk)

"Ang why is that?" Jungkook asked and Sinb looked at him, lips slightly pouting.

"Geunyang," she shrugged. "The lyrics just came out, I guess."

"What is it about?" Jungkook asked again, slightly annoying Sinb.

"Ehh! You'll know later!" Sinb said and Jungkook just shrugged.

There weren't a lot of people inside the gym when they arrived. There seemed to be only a few people who were going to try out while the rest were the varsity players already doing their warm up.

"Jungkook-ah!" someone called and the both of them turned to where the voice came from.

"Oh, Yuju-ya," Jungkook greeted her with a smile. "It's been a while."

"I know! You okay now? We were worried, you know," she said, confusing Sinb once again with all the 'are you okay?' questions Jungkook kept getting. "Oh, wait. Who is she?" she good-naturedly asked, pointing at Sinb.

"Oh, right. Yuju, this is Sinb, my childhood friend from Busan," Jungkook started. "Sinb, this is Yuju. She was my classmate before. She's the captain of the volleyball team this term."

"Annyeonghaseyo, sunbae-nim," Sinb greeted, giving Yuju a small bow. Yuju smiled back at her, returning the greeting.

"She wants to join your team, Yuju-ya!" Jungkook declared and Yuju looked at Sinb with a wide smile.

"really?! We would love to have you in our team! Is she good, huh?" Yuju teased Jungkook and Sinb got to the conclusion that the two were close friends.
