Chapter 7
(Memories of Rapunzel)
Larissa sighed as she looked down at the ground far below her. “Could you get anymore cliché?” she announced. “I feel like Rapunzel. The only thing missing is the prince saying ‘Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your golden hair.’” Larissa rolled her green eyes. She gave a frustrated sigh.
Turning around, she looked at her bed. “I have to give him credit, the sheets definitely won’t help me get to the ground.” She rubbed her right hand over her forehead. ‘I might have acted a little too quickly.’ In silence, she began pacing the round room.
The blonde woman moved her hand to massage her sore neck and brushed against the necklace. “The necklace.” She walked over to a mirror and looked at it. ‘Hmm…There must be more to this necklace. There has to be a way to remove it and I need to figure it out,’ she thought to herself.

Rowan sat at the formal dining room table with his parents, not hiding he was still angry. A scowl graced his otherwise handsome face. He’d barely touched his breakfast except for annihilating his eggs with his fork; which everyone noticed.
Queen Mellesandra looked at her son with complete sympathy. She knew the newly turned Fae woman meant a lot to her the angry man. “She’ll come around Rowan,” she said gently.
“She ran!” he pouted and crossing his arms, the prince slumped back in his chair less than dignified. “I even warned her and she still ran!”
The entire royal family was caught off guard as the dining room doors abruptly opened crashing into the sides of the wall and a very angry Violet and Nina entered the room.
“You locked her in a tower!” Violet yelled at the prince. “Why would you…”
“She ran!” the prince snapped back.
“But a tower!” Nina said just as shocked.
“She can’t escape!” he shouted at the two female guards.
“You might both want to remember who you are speaking to,” the King warned.
“We haven’t forgotten majesty, he’s the idiot that locked his bride in a tower,” Violet retorted. She glared at the prince and asked, “Is she your bride or your prisoner?”
“She’s…”
“Currently both!” Nina informed the heir to Rosina. “If you want to lose her keep her locked up but if you want to win her then get her out of the damn tower!”
“Why do I feel as if the fact Larissa is in a Tower is somewhat important,” the Queen commented.
