I got up hearing the alarm ring in my ear I turned it off when I noticed that it was time for me to get ready for work I crawled my sleepy body out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my hygiene oh yeah where's my manners my name is Jennifer Whitfield I'm 24 and live in an apartment by myself I've been looking for the right guy to start a family with but all these ATL dudes want is some pussy and I'm not with that shit after I was done and got out the shower I got dressed and grabbed my things heading out the door.
As I parked in the lot I looked in the cafe where I work and see the biggest thug of them all Jarvis Haynes oh my god he works my nerves always think every girl wants him he's not ugly but still not every girl wants him especially me I rolled my eyes and got out my range rover locking the car up
I walked up to the entrance and walked in, a few guys turned their heads at me like I was Ms America runway I just rolled my eyes at them and kept walking Jarvis looked at me and smirked he always trying to flirt with me
"Jenninfer what's up baby" he said with a cute little smirk on his face
I glanced at him "Boy please you not even worth going with and what I told you bout calling me your baby we not together" I said going to the back signing in and grabbed my apron pen and pad I came back out
"You never know if you just give me a chance with yo fine ass" he said biting his bottom lip I cocked my eyes at him
“You to old to be acting like that you need to stop being a little child and grow up” I told him ignoring whatever else he said to me and went to take orders I looked back at him saw his shoulders shrug and walked out the door I shrugged my shoulders and rolled my eyes continuing taking orders I walk back behind the counter
“Why you let the creature get under your skin like that” my friend Alexis said to me pouring coffee for a man at the counter
I just shook my head getting three doughnuts a coffee and mocha “I don't even know I just need to let him say what he say then he can go on with his life he erks my nerves every time I see him or when he speaks to me” I told her taking the things to the table I left from
“Well don't let him get under your skin he's just looking for some pussy or booty he can eat” she said when I came back behind the counter
“Really Lex we are at work” I said with wide eyes “Besides he not never coming near me”
“Whatever girl I'm pretty sure these people do the same thing he do and never say never” she said I rolled my eyes at her
We just continued to work having little conversation or debates here and there I don't care what she say Jarvis is not coming near me and he better not even think bout coming near me.
