Chapter Three

Jennifer POV

Its been a week since I spoke to Josh & I was thinking bout going out on a date with him just to take things slow so I called him up

"Hello" I heard his deep sexy voice

"Ummmm hey Josh this Jen I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later on tonight if that's ok with you" I said hoping he said yeah

There was silence for a minute until he spoke "Yeah sure I'll come get you round 8" with that being said we hung up I sent Jim my address & got ready I did my hygiene & put on a laces dress with some 6 inch heels I heard a honk grabbed my things & went straight out the house

"Wow you look stunning Jen" he said as I got in the car I smiled & thanked him then we were off a few minutes later we pulled up to this nice restaurant we got out & walked towards it

"Reservation for Mills" he said the lady looked at the list grabbed two menus & showed us to our table in the back

"The waitress will be with you in a few minutes" she said then left

We nod our head & started making small talk "So Jen tell me bout yourself” he asked looking at me

“Well I work in cafe im single & going to start school in a couple months for nursing, what bout you” I asked he nod

“Well as you know o play basketball but I'm not single I'm actually going to get married in 3 months that's why I wanted you to meet up with me beca-” before he could finish I heard a voice I never wanna hear

“So you just gonna sit here & cheat on me I thought we had something special” Jarvis said walking up to the table

I rolled my eyes “Jarvis when are you gonna get that through your head that we are not together won't be together & will never be together I don't want to be with you ok so please let this be the last time you speak to me thank you” I told him then turned my attention my back towards Josh he stood there for a minute then just left without anything else to say

“Please continue” I said feeling a little hurt bout what he is telling me

He nod then continue “Well anyway but that's why I wanted to meet up with you because my wife needs help doing things for the wedding & I thought why not you help her if that's OK with you” he said sounding nervous

At first I was gonna say no but I just agree I mean why not he still is a friend of mine “Yeah sure why not I can” I said feeling a lil down that he wasn't single then the waitress came over took our orders & left

I was looking down until I felt my head being lifted “Aye Jen I just wnna thank you for doing this for me and I kinda know that you got a crush on me I also had one on you but Jen the only thing that stopped us from being together was my father & your mother” he told me I looked at him confused

“What you mean by that” I asked taking my drink sipping on it a lil he looked at me like he was scared

“Well ummmm apparently your dad is my dad” he said looking down I dropped my for with my food on it

“What no can't be” I said looking shocked he nodded his head with a serious fave telling me he wasn't playing at all

“Who told you this” I asked still trying to piece this mess together

“Well tomorrow I was gonna tell you to come with me so we can talk to your mother” he said

I nod my head not knowing what to say for the rest of the night it was a blur to me I didn't realize I was home until the car stopped

“Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow when I come get you” I just simply nod my head get out go inside my house lock the door go upstairs & run some hot water tomorrow is gonna be hectic for me I thought as I soaked in the water
