Chapter TWO

Jennifer POV

I was at the grocery store getting some groceries I was in the candy section cause I have a sweet tooth and felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see someone I haven't seen in so long

“Oh my gosh Josh is that you?” I asked looking surprised to see my friend from high school standing here in front of me with a beautiful smile on his face

“In the flesh how you been” he said hugging me I hesitated at first but hugged him back

We pulled apart “How you been girl haven't seen you since we was in high school together”  he said smiling that one million smile at me I blushed from his smile

“I been good yah know been getting around how you been nobody seen you since you got that full ride scholarship to Ohio how's the basketball season going?” I asked picking up a few more packs of candy and start moving again leaving the asile heading towards the checkout line

I heard his footsteps behind me “Its going good actually I'm on a break cause our last game was a week ago & we go back in for another season next year in February” he said nodding his head I nod in agreement & look at him

“Well that's good but I'm getting ready to leave and put these groceries up..... It was nice seeing you again by the way” i said paying for my things & walking out the store pushing the cart

I heard him running up to me “Aye Jen here get my number maybe we can hang out sometimes while I'm in town like old times yah know” he said pulling his phone out he gave me his phone I put my number in

“Call me whenever you wanna hang out” I said waving bye & continue to walking to my car I put my things away got in & drove away going home

I woke up the next morning got up to get ready for work when I was done I grabbed my things & left o got there in 30minutes got out & walked into the entrance of the cafe

I walked behind the counter and went to the back got my apron & name tag then came back out to the front

“Girl you would never know who I saw yesterday at the grocery store” I said to Lex she looks at me with me an expression on her face saying girl who tell me “I saw Josh” she dropped her mouth open looking at me crazy

“Josh as in the Josh Mills the one that we graduated with in high school that Josh” she said with a hand on her hip I nod my head yes with a smile on my face “Oh my goodness chile we haven't seen him since graduation day after that he shot off to Ohio for that scholarship ride thing woooooow I remember you use to have the biggest crush on him” she said, wiggling her eyebrows on the last part

I laughed at her & shook my head “Yeah but that was a long time ago” I said shrugging my shoulders

“Bet you still do” she said making a bagel and coffee for a customer

I looked at her “No I dont it was just a stupid high school crush I'm over it now” I said waving my hand at her

She gave me that mhmmm look I rolled my eyes at her and we continued working, maybe she's right maybe I do have a little crush on him still nah that's crazy Jen it was along time ago but back then he was cute now he done glo'd the fuck up and got fucking sexier I just need to forget about it he probably has a girlfriend anyway...... Maybe or maybe not
