Present Day

Danielle POV

         "Thank you sis for the lunch" Daning says while we are walking to our cars. " as I said, I will get back to you as soon as I have a solution. I will try to find a lawyer for you."

         "Thank you" I say hugging her, "talking about food, I don't have anything in my fridge would you mind..."

        "Sure " she says without letting me finish my sentence and taking the bankcard that I was handing her.

       That girl!! She loves spending my money, not that I am complaining about it because she buys me all my clothes, but come on, I am the little sister here.

        Daning blows me a kiss before getting into her car, and I wave goodbye to her. I am feeling much better after talking to her. Only the four of us who were here that night know about my marriage.

     That night Daning murmured to me that she was going to make sure that the marriage is validated and she certainly did.

       That day I knew what sex meant, I knew the signification of making love. I finally understood what the book where talking about when they were explaining how two body were becoming one or the feeling of sharing more than kisses.

      I did not know that I had such audacity to say yes to a second round and moaned when he asked me for a third.

          I was fine with him giving me a "plan B" after all this sex because he did not want us to have a baby now. And, sadly, that same day, I learned that words can be cruel, and men can be even worst. I am still wondering why I had done this to me just for a night stand.

        I got in my car and drive to the office, which was less than three minutes away. I was already running late. When I entered my office, there were already two patients. I know Ms. Parker is only there for her medication and the other one will keep me for hours talking about his cats.

       I can name all of them. First there is Mr. Speedy, he likes to run around like crazy, can't stay in one place. There is Goofy, Sandy, Lyly, Miss Tia, Leo.... Well I overestimated my capacity. She has three more that I keep forgetting the names.

         "Good afternoon Ms. Parker, Ms. Robinson." I say while passing by. "Afternoon Paul" I say while stopping to take the list of all the messages he took for me.

     I enter my office, put my bag down, put on my white coat, and started to see my patients.

       For the first time on a Friday I was done by 5pm. Let me just wish that my dad will not want me to come and help him at his own office or send me patients. My father is a doctor, specializes in internal medicine. He always has way more patient than me. As I am a psychiatrist, he usually refers me some of his patients. My only problem is that he always waits until 4 or 5 to do so.

       I start to play my jazz playlist from my computer. I was finishing writing some last notes on the patients charts for the day when I heard argument in the lobby. Brusquely my door open and he was standing in front of me. Paul appears right behind him. I wanted to laugh seeing that Paul's head was just at his Shoulder.

          "It's fine Paul. Mr. Cooper probably has an emergency." I say calmly and getting up from my chair.

     Paul left the office closing the door but he touches the handle probably making sure it's close.

     My voice was certainly calm but my heart was getting out of my chest. There is only one explanation behind his entrance... He remembered.

Aki POV

      I have not work since I remembered her. Four years has changed her a lot. She has color in her hair and they are way longer.  Is she acting up or had a brain washed? She is showing me one of the chairs in her office.

      You are my wife. I certainly cheated on you during those four years; it's not my fault because you disappeared. I wish I can say those words out loud, but I was just ogling her with her necklace in my hand.

       Since this morning, I got drunk, went sober and certainly drink one more glass before coming here. I needed strength. Not everyday your wife leaves you after one night of deep passion and signing the right papers.

        "Is there anything I can help you with?" She asks me sitting back on her chair.

    That office is hiding every single body languages and it is unfavorable for me. I need to know if she actually forgets me.

     I raise the hand that has the necklace and show it to her. She bites her bottom lips, which indicates me that she was stress about something.

       "You found it" she says standing up. " Thank you I thought that I will never find it.  It is really kind of you to bring it all the way here." She says while giving me her hand to take it.

       "It's a D" I say looking at her straight in the eyes.

    I saw her swallowing her saliva before stating, "well my last name start with a D"

      "STOP LYING" I yell hitting the back of the chair she offers me to sit on earlier.

     She sits on her chair and looks at me with huge scary eyes.

      "I am sorry" I says slowly calming my nerves, "I did not mean to scare you, but you need to stop. I did not come here just to give you that, and I am totally sure you know damn well why I am here."

         "You don't have to curse, but for your information I really don't see what you want to talk about Mr. Cooper. " she says still holding the necklace.

       I walk to her behind her desk, and she was now holding on to the chair.

       I am tired. I don't want to fight over a truth that is hard for her to admit. I probably did something that I don't remember.  The best thing to do is not pushing her.

     "Danielle," I say turning her chair so that she can face me, and getting down on one knee and taking her face between my two hands, I ask her  "look at me in the eyes and tell me... you don't recognize me?"

        She opens her mouth but close it right after just like she did the first time when she accidentally told me that she was virgin.

      The urge to kiss her that I had since morning was so strong that I could not contain myself anymore.

      I pull her closer and at first I brush my lips on her just to see if I should or not. She comes closer to me when I thought that I should stop kissing her. She wanted more and I wanted it to. I get closer to her and this time to capture her lips with mine into a kiss, which was more like a confession.

    She can say that she does not remember me, but her body does.
