Aki POV

"What's wrong?"

We were walking together and she just stop. I hope that she is not having any panic attack or something else.

"You saw the man who just walked by?" she asks me with her eyes wild open.

"The doctor?" I ask because the only man I saw was a middle age tall man, with a glasses on top of his nose, and a doctor's blouse.

"Well that was my father" she says just like a teen who has been caught by her parents.

I don't know why but instead of calming her down, I burst out laughing. Her facial expression changes. She was trying not to laugh but I guess it was too hard. She punches me in the arm still holding that laugh.

"Awww, that not nice, and that was a real punch." I state rubbing the area.

"Kick boxing" she answers proudly, " It's really not funny... I mean not totally."

She smiles, looks at her feet then look back at me.

" Who would I say you are to me when they ask me?" She says with a serious face. " Only Daning knows that I am married, and I really don't want to know my dad's reaction to this situation."

" I totally understand" I say holding her by her shoulders. "I know this is not a normal situation, but I am ready to change everything. You came to see me today to talk about that. It's now or never. When I approaches you, I really wanted to believe that it is not you, but I guess destiny had another plan for us. Meeting you is like having a second chance to do everything correctly. I want to know your decision."

"We can't have that discussion right here, right now." She said a little surprise by my initiative.

"Danielle, if you want to find an answer to your dad's questions, now is the time."

"I need an explanation about everything then." She says without showing any emotion.

I really did not see that one coming. Why can't things be just like in the movies.

"First I want you to know that I did not plan on cheating on you and I did not do it. I mean not after two years without any news from you."

"I heard you on the phone that night, an you said that you would come as soon as she sleeps. You left the room not even ten minutes after. I have just signed all the papers that time. You really could not wait to go see her right? She conclude more with sadness than anger.

"You got everything wrong Danielle" I start to explain, " the two persons I talked to that night are Jason and Rodrigo. Jason was before you heard me, I called him according the papers and Rodrigo for your ring. I left because I went to see him. He was going to sell the ring that I chose for you because someone else wanted it."

"Can''t you stop. Who open a store at night? She says this time with anger.

"Sorry to tell you sweet heart that our 'night' of passion made you lose your notion of time. We went to sleep probably around five or six. When I wake you up by ten, you signed and went back to sleep. I left the house certainly around one."

"the curtains...?" she semi asks and at the same times confirms.

"Exactly, and also you were tired." I state

She inhales deeply and slowly let the air out. I will totally get it if she asks me to leave, and I will not hold it against her either. I don't want her to feel like I am putting pressure on her, but I could not stand without asking, " So... Will you give me the chance to be a gentleman this time or you want me to go f*ck myself?"
