Danielle POV

Three roses and four cards.

Three small cards were underneath each rose and I was holding the biggest one.

"Roses are Red

Violets are blue

I miss your kiss

And so do you

Choose one flower

And read the card

I can't-do rhyme

But hey I tried"

OH my God that was awful and cute. " FT around 4:00."

Well, it's 3:25... almost one hour to wait. The weekend was long, from the mother-daughter lunch to my dad questioning me about my "relationship" as he kept emphasizing during the entire conversation, I had a lot on my plate.

I don't know how all this is going to work, but it has to.

Leaving my office, I went this time to the patient's room. By five, I was done, and also realized that I forgot to call Aki. As soon as I was about to pick up my phone, Paul entered my office without knocking at the door.

"You got to see this." He said handing me a big file. "These are Mr. Green records, and you will definitely want to read all of it... I mean all."

"Quick summary," I said taking the file, and I skim through it.

Delusion, hallucinations, antisocial behavior, aggression...

" Did you send the notes to his lawyer?" I asked without taking my eyes off what I was reading.

"Yes"

"Thank you, Paul, Have a good night," I say picking up my phone for real and calling his office.

No answer.

I tried his personal phone, this time listening to his voice talking to me, I realized how much I missed him.

"Well took you long enough to call me." I hear his enthusiastic voice at the other end.

" Hi, I am really sorry. Are you still at your office?" I apologetically start

"Leaving right now. Why?"

"Please check your faxes; we just sent something over. It's regarding Jacob Green; he might not be entirely innocent as you thought.

"Doing that right now. Happy thought, did you pick up a flower?"

"Not yet sorry... and I am just letting you know, you and poems are just... not... well stay away from it."

I heard his laugh on the phone and realized that it was another thing that I was looking forward to during the entire day.

I was still lost in my thought when my phone rings.

"Why are you FaceTiming me?" I asked taking the phone off my ear, answering it and putting it in front of my computer so that he can see me.

" I want to see you making a choice."

"Now? We have to deal with Mr. Green case first."

"My computer is still loading so..." he stated finally looking at me. He stopped for one second then added, "You are beautiful."

I washed my hair yesterday, and with my natural hair, I knew for a fact that they were all over. I spent the whole day working ... I was feeling everything except beautiful.
