Nicole's POV
When I woke up the next morning my head was on Max's chest still and he was staring at me. I gave him a smile and he said Good morning. I said good morning.
"How did you sleep?" Max asks me smiling.
"Pretty well actually. How about you?" I asked him smiling back.
"To be honest I have never slept better." Max tells me.
"Oh really? Thank you for singing me to sleep last night by the way." I tell him. I really did appreciate it too. Max is so sweet and he is adorable and one of the nicest guys I have ever met.
"Any time. I am glad you slept well because I was planning on hanging out with you and doing stuff today." Max tells me.
"Well I guess I better go shower and get ready then." I get up and go get my clothes and then hop in the shower.
Max's POV
She is so cute when she is sound asleep. "good morning" I tell her with a smile.
"Good morning" she tells me back with a smile.
"How did you sleep?" I ask her still smiling.
"Pretty well actually. How about you?" she tells me with her beautiful smile showing.
"To be honest I have never slept better." I tell her. And that is true, I have never slept better.
"Oh Really?" She asks. "Thank you for singing me to sleep last night by the way." She tells me.
"Any time. I am glad you slept well because I was planning on hanging out with you and doing stuff today." I tell her.
"Well I guess I better go shower and get ready then." She gets up and grabs her clothes and then goes to get in the shower. While she is in the shower Jay and the boys come knocking at the door.
"Heyyy Max, How did it go last night?" Jay asks winking at me.
"Nothing happened between us. She laid her head on my chest and after we talked I sang to her until she fell asleep and then I fell asleep." I tell him smiling.
"Ya right Max. What, do you not kiss and tell?" Nathan says.
"I haven't kissed her yet either. This girl is different, I actually like her." I tell the boys. "She is showering and we are gonna hang out and go shop for a little bit before we leave." I tell them.
"I am so proud of you Max. Haha You are growing up!" Tom says.
"Finally!" Siva says.
"Ya, Ya. haha there is just something about her." I tell them. She walks out of the bathroom with a towel on her head and we all stop talking.
"Good morning boys." she says.
"Morning!" Say Tom, Nathan, and Siva at the same time.
"Good Morning Nicole." Jay says. "Hey Nicole can I talk to you for a minute?" Jay asks. I look at Jay with the kill look because I have no idea what he is going to tell her or what he is going to ask her or talk to her about.
"Uhm... Sure." Nicole tells him. Jay leads her out of the room and into the hall. The others sit me on the couch and talk to me.
Nicole's POV
When I get out of the shower and am dressed, I walk out of the bathroom all the boys are there and I got the feeling they were talking about me. They all got really quiet when I came out. Then Jay asks me if he can talk to me alone for a minute. I said yes because I was really curious as to why he wanted to talk. So jay takes me to his room and asks how I slept.
"I slept pretty well thanks." I tell him.
"That's good. So I really just wanted to let you know that I have never seen Max like this. I think you are a pretty cool girl and I hope we can be friends but I just don't want to see Max get hurt you know?" Jay tells me.
"Jay I would love to become friends with you. And you do not need to worry because I really like Max, and I think tomorrow once Scooter talks to my mom, I will be able to show him that I like him because I can hang out with him daily." I tell Jay. Jay is super nice and I am glad he wants to be my friend. It is really sweet that he cares about Max too.
"Ok. That's good haha. I just don't want to see him get hurt! And we can be besties! haha" He said besties like a girl which made me bust out laughing. We left to go back to Max's room and we walked in laughing. Max looked up with a look that he was confused. The boys walked out and I explained to him what Jay said. He looked a little embarrassed and I said he shouldn't be embarrassed because I thought it was cute that Jay cared about him. Max looked a little relieved after that and we left and headed to a mall where I could get a couple new outfits for the weekend coming up. Time flew by while we were shopping because pretty soon we were back and loading up on the bus to head to New York so the boys could do a quick rehearsal for Good Morning America tomorrow. Today was good so far. I cant wait for my "first date" with Max tonight.
Max's POV
Jay leads Nicole out of the room and the boys tell me to sit and listen to them for a minute.
"Look Max, we know you like her and all which is great but you can't let her get in the way of your career." Nathan tells me.
"Ya. You have to still be focused on the band. It will be hard at times, I mean me and Nareesha have rough patches and I am sure that Tom and Kelsey do too but that is just part of our lives." Siva tells me.
"You all should know that I will be just as focused on the band as before. I understand where you are coming from but you should not worry, no girl is going to tear me apart from my brothers!" I tell them. Nicole and Jay come back into the room laughing and I have a worried look on my face as the boys leave. I ask what they talked about and she told me how he just told her that he wants to make sure she doesn't hurt me and that he wants to be friends with her. I am so embarrassed and she can see that because she tells me not to worry about she thinks it is sweet that Jay cares about me and then she says she cant wait to be Jay's friend. We finish getting ready and then we head to a mall where I buy her a couple outfits for her to wear on our date tonight and the rest of the weekend. Pretty soon we are back and loading up on the bus getting ready to head to New York where we will rehearse and then I will take her to dinner and to meet Scooter so he can talk to her mom. I am extremely nervous.
