Max's POV
Now that Christmas is over and the holidays are done and we are back on tour and I know I have my parents blessing to propose and all I need are Nicole's parents blessings I have decided to go ring shopping with Tom and Jay. We are in LA because we are performing two concerts tomorrow March 4, and Friday, March 5. Nicole is hanging out with Justin who is finally on break from his tour. They have become good friends which is cool. I decided to take Tom and Jay with me because they are the ones Nicole is closest too. Siva is modeling and Nathan is with his new girlfriend and I know him and Nicole don't get along too well but they get along. They just aren't close. If Siva wasn't modeling he would have come because I know how much he likes Nicole. We are sitting in the back of one of the cars and we are all wearing hoodies and sunglasses because I do not want the paparazzi knowing what is going on and ruining this for me. Jay is even wearing a bald cap and a hoodie. When we get to the jewelers there are no paps thank God.
"So do you know what kind of ring you want to get her?" Tom asks.
"No. I just want to get a ring I know she will love and something that shows how much I love her." I tell him.
"Hello boys its nice to finally meet you Max." The store guy says.
"Its nice to meet you too Mike. These are my friends Jay and Tom." I introduce them.
"Nice to meet you guys. So Max do you have anything in particular you are looking for? Any specific type of ring? And whats your price range?" Mike asks.
"Not in particular. I would like it to be something special and of course have a diamond. I am going to get it engraved so it says "Forever and Always" and price is not that important." I tell him.
"Ok I have a couple different options for you to look at. This first ring has a diamond shaped heart in the center of it." Mike shows us a ring.
"That's gorgeous mate!" Tom says.
"Ya its pretty but its not Nicole." I say.
"Ok well this next one is 12 carat and the diamond is circular shaped and has diamonds on the band itself." Mike says pulling out another ring.
"I love that one lad!" Jay says.
"I do, but its just not Nicole!" I tell him.
"Ok. I think I know exactly what you are looking for. This one you will love. This is understated yet elegant, this engagement ring setting features a single row of round diamonds on either side of the center. The matching wedding band provides an additional row of brilliance to complement. The rings are crafted of 14K white gold and have a total diamond weight of 1/3 carat." Mike says.
"This is the ring! I know she will love it and so do I!" I say excitedly.
"That one is a beaut!" Jay says.
"I think she will love it! Its my favorite by far!!" Tom says.
"How much Mike?" I ask anxiously awaiting.
"Before engraving "Forever and Always" it will be $1300." Mike says.
"Not bad. How much with engraving?" I ask.
"Well with what you want engraved it will be about $1500 total." Mike says.
"Wooow." Tom says.
"Geez." Jay says.
"I'll take it!" I say smiling.
"Alright the engraving will take about 2 hours so why don't you come back?" Mike says.
"Alright that's fine. Lets go grab some lunch." I tell the boys. We head out and go to a pizza place around the corner. We order and eat.
