《Melissa's pov》
Cecilia has been sleeping the rest of the day. The next morning I walked over to Ciel's room to see how he was doing.

It was obvious his fever had gone down when I saw Sebastian, Soma, and Agni come out of the room.

I held back a laugh when Soma said that Sebastian was scary to talk to. I thought he was a very nice butler.

Then Soma ran down the hall and Agni put his hands together. "What a kind heart you have, my prince!" He said. Agni really seemed to be, uhh, what's the word, devoted to Soma.

I followed Sebastian as he was about to clean. I heard him murmur something then the telephone rang.

Sebastian picked it up. It must've been one of the servants at the manor. Then Sebastian's eyes widened.

"What's wrong?" I asked. He just looked at me, as If he was thinking he should tell me or not. Then he bent down and whispered into my ear.

《Cecilia's pov》
I woke up late at night. It was dark out. Did I sleep though the day? I got out of bed when Melissa came in with a smile.

"You're awake." She said and grabbed my dress from the wardrobe.

"What time is it?" I asked her as she helped me put on the dress, I was still half asleep.

"Past seven in the evening." She replied. How long had I been asleep? We both headed for Ciel's room when Ciel and Sebastian left the room.

"I guess we can leave now and solve this case." Melissa said.

We walked down the stairs. I saw Soma standing at the doorway. "You're trying to leave again, aren't you?" He asked.

Ciel started complimenting him as we hurried past him. Melissa shut the door behind us.

We got in a carriage for the ride. I looked out the window at the dark sky.

When we arrived at the front steps, the door already opened. "We've been expecting you, Lord and Lady Phantomhive."

My eyes widened when I saw Joker. But that wasn't the only reason. He had also said Lady. I could tell Ciel was as confused as I was.

Joker guided us to the main hall. As we walked, I noticed several dolls hanging on the walls and the ceiling. I shuddered. This guy was creepy.

He opened the doors to the dining hall. He pulled a chair out so Ciel could sit and he pulled out another chair. I was confused when Melissa pushed me forward, telling me to sit.

As I sat, the other double doors opened and I saw a man sitting in a wheelchair. His face was covered in bandages and two children walked beside him.

"L-Lord and Lady Phantomhive! It's like a dream. Having you two so close to me." He said. Lady, who was he talking about? Me?

"You're Lord Kelvin?" Ciel asked. "Yes, but that formality makes me a little shy." Lord Kelvin said.

"I prepared a feast for you." The creepy man continued. He rang a bell then children came in, holding food.

I didn't dare to eat, even though I hadn't eaten in a day. I stared at the children. Their eyes were dull, as if they were being controlled.

"A meal without entertainment will bore you, won't it, my lord and lady?" Kelvin asked.

I was still confused. I glanced towards Melissa but she was poking down at her feet. What's going on?

"Joker! Put on your show." He ordered him. "What? B-But..." Joker said. He seemed unwilling to do a performance.

"Just do it." Kelvin continued. Joker looked down. "Of course."

He walked up onto a small stage then spun his stick. "Welcome, Lord and Lady Phantomhive! Tonight we take thee to a world of thrilling excitment!" Joker said.

I glanced over at Ciel. Lady Phantomhive... could he be...? I shook the thought put of my head. It wasn't possible. I looked back on the stage and the curtains revealed children in costumes and masks.

Kelvin was the only one clapping. "First our tightrope walker." Joker pointed up at a girl dressed in blue costume.

He continued, "No safety net tonight, my lovelies. It's a bona fide-" He was cut off when the girl fell.

I stared in shock at the pool of blood surrounding the girl as Ciel and Melissa gasped. I noticed Joker biting his lips. Lord Kelvin was laughing and clapping. He was mad!

Another child dragged the girl away as Joker said, "Next our lion tamer. Watch as he masters the savage beast!" Two children pulled a cage with a boy and a lion. One of the children pulled out the wall in between them.

I closed my eyes when the lion attacked the boy. I heard the lion shredding the boy to pieces. Kelvin clapped and laughed again. Did he not care for the children?

"And now, our knife thrower!" Joker said. I opened my eyes and saw a boy with a knife in his hand in front of a girl.

When he was about to throw it, Ciel and I both shouted, "Stop!"

My eyes widened when I saw Sebastian on the stage, holding the knife. How did he get up there so quickly? He took off the girls mask and held a paper In his hand and said, "Elary Nixon, the girl who went missing in Cromwell."

Was that part of the mission? Find the missing children? "You're right as always, young master. Forcing children you abducted to perform... yes, I suppose that Is one way to enjoy the circus." Sebastian said.

"Sorry, you didn't like this, Lord? Joker, clean up at once!" Kelvin ordered.

I got up. "I'm done here." Ciel got up and said.

"W-What's wrong?" Kelvin asked.

"This will do for my report to the Queen." He said as he walked over to him. "I found the foul, vulgar, unsightly, perverted brute, and I disposed of him." Ciel pointed a gun at him.

I gasped. Joker pointed his sword at Ciel and Sebastian put a knife at Joker's neck.

"Joker! Don't point that at the earl!" Kelvin said. "But..." He hesitated before putting down the sword.

"Lord Kelvin, where are the children you kidnapped?" Ciel asked.

"Oh! You want to meet them? They're in the cellar. I'll take you there now." Kelvin said. "There's something down there I want to show you two anyway."

We went in the elevator. "It's like a dream, getting to speak to you like this." Kelvin said. "Lady Phantomhive, you're being quiet, unlike how you normally were." He said to me.

Did he know me somehow? "Save your breath and take me to the children." Ciel ordered. "Oh, sorry." Kelvin said.

"I've been filled with regret since that day. Oh, how I wished to be by your side." He continued.

"That day? By your side?" Ciel asked as we stopped at the cellar door.

"No amount of regret can turn back time. But then I realized something, if we can't go back, we'll just do it all over again!" Kelvin said.

Ciel, Melissa, and I gasped. It was the white room. The were three cages with children and in the center of the room I saw a white table. I saw Ciel shaking.

"Now then, let's repeat the day three years ago, when the Phantomhive twins forgot their memories of each other!" Kelvin said.

I turned to Ciel. It was true then, the Earl of the Phantomhive Estate was my twin brother.
