Chapter 3: The Assignment

Today is that day that Sam and Taurtis have to do the assignment that Teacher Gareth assigned the class to do. While both Sam and Taurtis are at home, Taurtis is thinking about the assignment while Sam sleeps very peacefully. "Why does Gareth want us to do THIS type of assignment for his class!?" Taurtis whispers loudly, but tries to hold in his anger. Taurtis goes done stairs and reads what the assignment says in Sam's book since Gareth doesn't really like Taurtis that much. "Dear Student, this is your assignment. You need to read these parts with your partner and do what they are told. Once you read your parts and pick yours, please start acting as them. If there are some scenes you don't want to do, please ask me and I will change your part. Thank you and Have a great day." Taurtis gets an idea in his head since reading this helps him. " I can just ASK Gareth just to change a scene!" Taurtis says smirking. Taurtis keeps thinking about it,but then falls asleep on the living room couch near the GameCrab. "Taurtis..Taurtis..Wake up Taurtis.." Sam shakes Taurtis up. It might sound like Sam is peacefully waking Taurtis up, but he is really shaking him up really fast so that they can go get to school and learn their parts before they have to presentate it. Taurtis wakes up wiping his eyes. "Hm..?" Taurtis questions. Taurtis turns around and sees Sam standing their with his teddy bear in his hand with a adorable pout face." Taurtis come on! We need to go to school !" Sam said yelling. Taurtis blushes at Sam's pout face because he thinks it's cute. Taurtis runs upstairs and gets dressed so he can walk with a happy Sam. Taurtis runs downs to the front door where Sam is and they walk out of their home and start walking to school. "Taurtis, are you excited about today?" Sam said to Taurtis. Taurtis ignores Sam because he is way too nervous to do it and with a guy! Sam just lets him be. When they get to the school, Taurtis runs up to Gareth's room without Sam so that he doesn't hear it. Sam is confused,but he just walks up to Yuki and Sookie. When Taurtis is in front of the classroom, he starts gasping for air. Gareth sees Taurtis and asks him a question. "What do you want, Taurtis?" Taurtis looks up to Gareth and gets a serious and nervous face on. "May you please take off one of the parts off from this scene?" Taurtis hands him the book that he reads out of even know it's Sams. Taurtis points at the scene and Gareth starts to giggle. "Why are you giggling?" Taurtis asks Gareth even know he is still giggling, but he responds to the teenager. " I'm not changing this scene, Taurtis. You aren't the very smart student in this class and you hardly pay attention when I'm talking to the classroom." Taurtis starts getting nervous because class is about to start. "P-Please Gareth! I'm begging you! I don't want to..you know....KISS SAM!" Taurtis screams and freak outs. The bell rings. Everyone is walking to their desks, but the first thing they see is Taurtis with his head down on his desk with purple waves all over him because of his stress. They all sit down in their desks slowly because they are still looking at Taurtis. "Come on! Sit! Sit!" Gareth hurrys them up so he can start class. Sam goes to sit down in his chair near Taurtis. Taurtis turns his head and sees Sam. Taurtis' stress goes away and everyone is surprised because they were STILL looking at him. "Good Morning,Class! I'm going to let you practice your assignment with each other for a few minutes and then you will have to present it upfront near my desk," Gareth tells the students. Everyone gets up and picks their partner for the assignment to practice with. Sam and Taurtis are the only ones not practicing because Sam knows his lines and Taurtis is way too nervous. "Okay! Times up! Time to present!" Gareth yells. Everyone sits down in their desks and waits for Gareth to call people up. "Let's start off with my 'favorite' students, Sam and Taurtis," Gareth smirks. Everyone stares at them and both of them get up and stand up in the classroom. Taurtis is looking down at the ground and Sam is standing there smiling with excitement. Gareth starts to speak."Are you going to start boys? Or do you want me to read the assignment lines to you guys and then you guys do it while I read it?" Taurtis looks up and shakes his head up and down and Sam does the same thing. Gareth starts to read the lines from the Assignment. Taurtis and Sam start acting while Gareth reads it. Taurtis was thinking about the kissing scene because he doesn't want to kiss his best-friend! Gareth is on the kissing scene of the assignment. "While the two young teenagers where standing near a couple of cherry blossom trees, they started to stare at each other's eyes," Gareth reads out-loud. Everyone sitting down hearing Gareth and watching Sam and Taurtis were amazed because they don't know what is going to happen. Sam and Taurtis start to stare at each other's eyes like the assignment. While Gareth reads more loveie-dovie words in the assignment, Sam smiles at Taurtis and Taurtis just looks away and starts blushing dark red. Everyone watching is giggling and wanting to see them both kiss. Once Gareth said,"And then they kissed," The class started to watch Sam and Taurtis. Sam and Taurtis look at each other. Sam leans in near Taurtis' ear. "It's alright,Taurtis. It's just an assignment, right?" Taurtis jumps up from Sam's hit breath near his ear. Sam stands back where he was and starts the scene. He put his two small warm hands on Taurtis' face and starts to lean near Taurtis' lips. Taurtis starts to blush as hard as a bomb about to blow up and which Taurtis will blow up. Sam and Taurtis' lips are now touching with each other. The whole class is in shocked and all of them have their phones out to take pictures. Taurtis' eyes are still open and Sam's eyes are closed like a regular kiss would be. Taurtis starts to get used to the kiss and then starts going in with Sam. They start kissing each other like their is no one in sight even know they are in a classroom with their friends and a teacher. Sam and Taurtis pull away and start looking at other ways of the classroom and start blushing and smiling with happiness. The whole class keeps staring at them with wide eyes and they can't stop because they never thought they would KISS infront of everybody that they know. Sam and Taurtis walk in different directions to go back to their seats. Everyone starts clapping very slowly because they have nothing to say from that scene. Taurtis and Sam put their heads down so that they don't have to get embarrassed even more. Taurtis and Sam whisper to themselves saying,"I can't believe I kissed my best friend."
