You couldn't sleep after what Enoshima said. Finally, the killings will start. You had been racking your brain to think of a way to prevent this happening since the beginning, but it failed. Once she starts, nobody can stops her, not even you. You tried to talk to her about this but she wouldn't listen.

You have been tossing and turning on the bed irritatedly. Giving up, you stare at the ceiling while running your fingers on your hair and sighed.

Damn!

Don't worry... You still have Plan B stored. Hopefully, you can use it as many times as the killings that will happen. You got up from your bed and begin to write and specify your plan. Since this is still two in the morning, you can gather the materials needed without anyone noticing.

But you are not a SHSL Luckster as you hoped at all.

The moment you opened your door, you bumped into a certain someone. She is the one of the least person you want to meet.

"Maizono-san?"

"Yes? What are you doing in this late of night, (S/n)-san?"

You sighed frustatedly, not even bothering to hide it. To think logically, this is a very ungodly hour for any activity―excluding you because of your 'mission'. But more importantly, what is she doing? Could she be doing something suspicious. She is not in your 'those who could possibly harm' list, so it should be fine to believe that she is just wandering around. But still, you can't just ignore it. You should find out whatever the reason is.

"The same to you, Maizono-san. What could you possibly be doing in this time and place? Isn't there an unwritten rule about going out of your room during nighttime?" You asked.

"Well, it's nothing. But..."

With that said, you led her to the bath house to talk since the cafeteria is off-limit during nighttime. Honestly, you don't know where to take her. Considering how Enoshima is, you couldn't exactly guess what's in her mind. Going somewhere too random might open a chance for Enoshima to harm Maizono. But if you take her to your room, there is a chance Maizono might try to kill you. So you brought her here, not like it makes any difference.

"So what's bothering you? Ah, let me guess. Because of this silly 'academy coliseum' or you want to get out?" You asked nonchalantly. That's pretty much the basic for everyone.

"Actually, it does bother me, but in the same time, I'm happy too."

She told you about what made her uneasy, about how she felt her friends are waiting for her, about her dreams and so on. Then you told her that your brother was a big fan of her, and asked her to sign the notebook―which you used to write plans, reports and stuffs―you are holding. She later reveals that Naegi was her classmate and that he is so kind.

"But you know, (S/n)-san," she took a deep breath, smiling gently.

"No, I don't know. You haven't tell me, how I'm supposed to know?" You scoffed.

"Haha, yeah, right," she laughed. "Aside from Naegi-kun, somehow I felt relieved when I talked to you the other day."
